"Twinking" is often referred to as using muled items to equip a character with superior items than would be found solely in playing that character.

One term I see frequently, but which I've never seen explained, is "parking." I think it's transitive, as it shows up in phrases like "parked a boss," but what is it exactly?

"Parking", or parking or to park a boss normally refers to having a monster follow you to a certain point and then runing away fast enough to leave it there.

    Example :

Let's say Lister spawned with some godawful combo...
Maybe Stone Skin, Physical Immune, And a few Immunites, and maybe Extra Fast. If he is too hard to deal with as the case may be...so you let him follow all the way back to the area where the stairs are to WC3. If you run away fast enough, he will stay there, allowing you to deal with Baal unopposed.

    Parkings a good one...

    one I forgot was:

Uped (Up'd. Upd): Upgraded version of the item. Achieved with the Horadric Cube. Normal->Exceptional->Elite

Let someone steal it.. my attitude is the more people see it, the better. It's just a compilation of many other lists, sources and anything else I (Or someone else) thought was applicable.

Bravo! I've been playing this game for 3 years but it is discussed with so many acronyms I still have to look things up sometimes. Thanks for compiling and sharing this handy resource.

Here's a question for one I didn't see on that list.

In the PvP forum, I sometimes see "NK.' What would that be?

    Oops, missed NK.

NK: Naked Kill. Killing someone who doesn't have his equipment. Very BM.

That one really exists. In 1.09 you could read it all the time in cow runs, after Wirt's leg was retrieved to open the portal, but the finder couldn't open the portal anymore. Maybe it's a little out of fashion now.

    Wrong thread sonny.

Anyway the Pit is in act one, Tamoe Highland.
The Council is in act 3 Travinical. (If you have a few level 80's you should know this by now...or did you buy them ?)

DISO = Desperately in search of.

edit: eg = exempli gratia (Latin). Used to mean 'for example'.
