tell me what you think of this char

yesterday i was doing a meph run and i found a helm that i had never heard of before. howltusk forgot how much dmg taken goes to mana but it was pretty high. do you guys know of any other gear that has this ability i know alot of people like shafts and gaze for dmg reduce but wouldnt dmg taken goes to mana be better? and does this work only for physical or does it work too with elemental? well hope someone knows something about this..

It's not DR

howl tusk is 35% dam to mana. But that is not damage reduction like the sorcs energy shield. the 35% of Dam is how much mana is replenished when you are hit. Its another option for mana leech. works with all damage.

Tal Rasha's belt also has this ability

It has 37% damage taken goes to mana

The Nightsmoke belt does 50%.

mana goes to damage is calculated before mana burn, so it's useless for the one case where you would need it the most.

Naj Plate Armor has Damage Goes to Mana

Ith's also grant damage to mana in Helms Armor and SHields

But yes, unless you want it for mana leech its fairly useless.
