OW = open wounds
CB = crushing blow
both of these are obtained from equipment, and transfer to kick. high cb% is good for a pvm kicker but not too helpful for a pvp build. ow% on the other hand is a primary source of damage for pvp kicksins, along with venom.
Don't think in terms of high physical damage at once, thats not how kicksins work. Its a damage over time character. Use kick to apply venom/ow, and use traps and stunlock tactics to keep your opponent occupied while the damage sinks in.

If you want a kick vs all or kick vs kick build, you need to build around 75% block Stormshield, and have w/s weapon options like Um'd fleshripper, Um'd wizardspike, Um'd death's web. The essentials to a pvp kicksin remain the same as a casterkiller. 65fcr/86fhr are bps to shoot for if you want a pvp build.
