Team PvP, Pub, and 1v1 Char

Hey all, been trying to build a char that is effective at all types of PK, team, pub, and 1v1. So far, since I have acquired a decent amount of wealth, I have built a bvc and trapper. I've played almost all builds, but bvc and trapper were my strongest. However, the problem I faced with bvc was that
it was more of a 1v1 char, and didn't do well in team duels because if they target me first I can't escape the attacks of 3 or 2 other chars not to mention they require ungodly amount of wealth for their charms. Trapper was lovely, had great vs. all aspects but so easily absorbed. Whenever I pub pk I will fight the eventually sorber and even after locking/dodging opponents for over 20 seconds they've still only lost half life.

So, my goal is to make a char that has the following:
a) long range
b) decent durability (no glass cannon)
c) if played well doesn't not need godly charms, (i can afford gear parts usually)
d) is hard to absorb

My clan already has two cold sorcs and an auradin/foher a nec, a windy etc, so I'm thinking I need something that would be a good stand alone char as well as powerful in clan duels

What do you think would be most effective?

I'm thinking I might go with the following:

FB Sorc lvl 90
20 FB
20 FM
20 Meteor
16 to TK
Rest to ES and then Firebolt

+2/20fcr str, life, mana circlet with 5/5 fire
Vipermagi with 5/5 Fire
Phoenix Weapon o_O
Phoenix Monarch
Magefists
+2 15fcr str, life, mana ammy
10 fcr 19 str ring
Soj
Unclear on boots
Fire gc's with life and fhr, then sc's with mana and life or fhr

Do you think this build would be effective? I'm guestimating I'll do around +20k FB damage, have 105fcr, and about -66 Fire Res. Would this be able to pierce the hotspur or dwarf or nokozan that people wear or do you think -fire res is hopeless and even -66 won't pierce their stack?
 
having used a bvc, you know how useless fire sorcs can be if you bm them with spurs/noko. (personally, i don't think that's bm -- nk and tg are pretty much the only thing i consider bm).

i never liked the idea of building a char than could be resisted -- thus i've tried windys (2types of dmg, hard to counter both at the same time), bone necs (got bored), bvc (my current char).

working on a liberator now, though -- i also don't like the "no crowd control" issue of a bvc.

Played hammerdin before, didn't like it for a variety of reasons. Wayyy too common, the build is also very expensive (pcombat lifers). And I also find that many hammerdin kills result on other people making a mistake. Hammerdin iss great but I find it too hard to hit sorcs unless I stack. Although now that I think about it... it would rock team pvp if I spent enough high runes. But still, killing a trapper or sorcs is very hard w/o extra sorb (I usually like to limit myself to one abs item)

But no comments on the fire build? I know that its easy to stack vs. but I'm wondering if that -66 will be enough to bring 95 fire res down to say, 80. Even with 80 fire res, a 20k fireball will hit for 666 pvp Damage. Btw.. is pvp damage calculated differently for elemental attacks? I heard magic/physical is cut by 1/6, elemental by 1/4, and what about poison??

They can stack some res against you, so no elemental build recommended.

Either bone nec or hammerdin is way to go
