-% Target Defense/Bonus to attack rating and Kicks

I was wondering if -% target defense applies when you are kicking. (On a weapon)

Also if the % Bonus to attack rating (On a weapon) applies when you are kicking.

I didn't see that it worked or didn't work with kicks in the FAQ. If anyone could clarify this for me that would be great. Thanks.

The atleast the -% target defense would be great to know, not as concerned about the +ar.

both patience and the Search function are virtues.

short answer: yes. -% target defence as from Eth runes will work on a weapon, or any other source, such as cloak of shadows.
yes +%bonus to attack rating works even if the mod is on a weapon, a reason why gul'd bartucs were considered a pretty flash offhand kick claw a while back.

what doesn't work is %edamage and +AR (thats straight integer AR) from your weapon.

there is some evidence, some speculation and various testing, to suggest that +ar/level (eg: the fools and hawkeye mods) works from an on-hand weapon, but possibly not from an offhand one. the matter, last i heard, wasn't completely proven, but not disproven either.

+AR and +AR/lvl both work from weapons. I don't know exactly when it changed, but I suspect with the 1.11 patch. Since it was a "recent" discovery, I can't change the guide.
