Tal Rasha's tomb Q

Once you have changed map seed is there an easy way to find Tal Rasha's true tomb or is it just trial and error?

You can go to the Summoner area kill him dont open the red portal. Look at the sighns floating then look at the circle on the ground and the one that IS NOT floating in the air is your tomb. :D Hope that helps

If you haven't completed the quest then the correct tomb should still shown in your quest log. If you have, then why do you want to find the correct tomb? Duriel running?

Thanx Pinkey, I feel really stupid now.

IIRC Duriel is the best place to pick up those pesky little amulets that don't seem to drop anywhere else.

Off the top of my head....duriel suxx0r!!!!!!
keep in mind you'll probably have to kill him at about p5 to keep the no drop chance low enough to not be a pain. :D good luck

Hell Duriel also has the third highest chance of dropping a SOJ too. At least in 1.09.

Two things of note:

Hell duriel has one of the higher chances to drop facets.

If your quest log doesn't show the sign for the tomb, it will as soon as you port to the valley. Check again once you've ported there.

Hmmmnnn ... I need some more Poison facets.

My Hammerdin Hell Duriel map is so easy it's stupid. Literally run North up the corridor from the entrance and it's right there. Maybe 15 yards. Takes 2 seconds ... more I guess if monsters spawn there.

I'll try it sometime.

Duriel running? thats about as fun as stabbing my eyes out with a rusty nail, then smearing buffalo blood over me and play hide and seek with a pack of hungry wild lions.
Of course, some people like that sort of thing, and these people do duriel runs.

I just did a couple of runs for the heck of it on players5 Hell with a Hammerdin and a Holy Freeze merc with eth reaper's toll, Glad's Bane and Guillame's Face for the crushing blow.

Duriel on p5 goes down in ~ 10 to 15 seconds. Maybe 20-25 seconds if Duriel stun-locks my merc delaying the inevitable Decrepify. When decrep kicks in it's all over for Duriel with the Holy Freeze going on.

I got some relatively crappy items like Gerke's Sanctuary, Gris Sword etc ... but it was really fast. I'll probably do Duriel runs for awhile and see what happens.

I play 1.09, so facets are not on my menu. According to ATMA, hell Duriel has the best chance to drop Telling of Beads , the second best chance of dropping, The Highlord's Wrath and the Cat's Eye, and as I said in a previous post , the third best chance to drop a SOJ. Norm Duriel has the best chance to drop the Eye of Etlich too. All of which I need for my grail. My whirlybarb can to a run in a couple of minutes, at the most, so there is no real sweat in doing them.
