synergy question...

Ok so if I had a hammerdin build... could i put one point in blessed aim synergy for bh, and rely on plus to all skill items to boost the blessed aim synergy? My understand was that all you needed was to put one point in a synergy, then plus to all skill bonuses would benefit the synergy until it got to lvl 20... Is that just my own dream? Or does it actually do that??

In order to get a synergy bonus from a skill point, you have to put one in that skill.
+skills don't affect synergies, and Prayer is the exception to this rule.
