Are these claws able to have 3 sox and 3 to traps at once?

I always thought it wasnt possible, but this guy (evil_killer) stated that i was a wrong noob and he was ging to buy 2 claws with 3sox and 3 traps

so is he right?:azn:

No it is not possible. Both Cunning and Artisan's/Jewelers are prefixes so they cannot spawn on a magic claw at the same time and neither Cunning nor Artisan's/Jewelers are available for rares. A magic item can only get a max of 2 sockets with the socket quest, so that is not a possibility either.

+3 to a particular trap as staffmod is possible of course with an Artisan's claw.

then you are saying that you could not find a superior with +3 to a particular trap that was naturaly socketed? is it possable that this person was using the term buy as to purchase it from a website rather than fron an ingame vender? (as i have not seen any the the naturaly +skilled claw class weps being sold ingame)

+3 to a specific trap AND 3 sockets are quite common, you can even have three +3 mods on a non-magic item. Are you sure he meant +3 to all traps, and not +3 to LS?

You can have an Artisan's (claw type) with +3 LS. Its not common. Its fairly easy to get claws with +3 LS that are grey or white (whites get 3 sockets). When he said "buy" he was probobly saying "trade for," many people refer to trading for items as buying them. eg. "I've got to go on dii.net and buy a griefz, this botd has horrible damage."
