    Suspicious Logs in d2 files???

Does anyone know what the deal is with the dated logs in the d2 files?
It lists times entered on the realms, my computer system and IP stats, and azurewrath and rainbow facet string index - amongst other things.
Is it a hack or other nasty, or is it like the bnet log, which is supposed to be there?
Names and IP addresses have been changed to protect the innocent!

I do believe these are much like the BNet logs -- we all have them.

I think that Blizzard collects information on your computer specs as part of their research for future game designs. The logs are mostly showing what your computer does and does not support. There is nothing here that you should be concerned with. :)

EDIT: Oh, and when you are having problems with the game, Blizzard tech support will often ask for these logs.

Also if you left the box checked for allowing your comp to send info to bliz about your computer's performance, some very basic info is sent to blizzard. CPU, memory, OS, connection speed, etc. are given to blizzard so they can compare what users use to play their games. It started right before WCIII was released, but the logs have been there since v1.00.

As said above. Yep, we all have them. They log all info that goes on with D2, helpful for finding game start-up or play errors. They will not be sent to blizzard without your explicit permission.

Just to add/clarify. The reason azurewrath and rainbow facet are being listed is for a very simple reason. There are 2 azurewraths (normal and elite versions) and there are 8 rainbow facets (fire/cold/lit/psn on death and fire/cold/lit/psn on level) that all look the same to the game. The game code has not been told to ignore logging these errors, so they still show up in the logs. Nothing to worry about though, your game won't crash if you have two rainbow facets on a character or something like that.
