    Im curious about how high dmg can bear actually get :)

    First, let me say waiting for more than 2 hours for a Math question like this would be appreciated. Even if someone sees it and is willing to do it, they might not have time at the moment.

    What lvl are you interested in?? Don't really feel like doing the calcs for each lvl.

    Well, I'll just tell you how you can do it.

    Lvl20 Grizzly
    Dmg: 945 - 1039
    Ed%: +215%

    Take the total damage that it says the skill does... We'll just use Minimum damage this time:

    945

    and divide it by the Enhanced damage from the Grizzly Skill (In decimal form) + 1:
    945/ (215/100 + 1)
    945/ (2.15 + 1)
    945/ 3.15
    300 is the Base Minimum Damage for a Grizzly.

    So now that we have the Base damage, we can find his true damage with HoW, Might And the Grizzly bonus. To do this, we multiply the base damage with the ED from all 3.

    Lvl20 HoW = 153%ed
    Lvl20 Might (Highest the Merc can achieve without +skills) = 230%ed
    And lvl20 Grizzly (as mentioned previously) = 215%Ed

    So the formula is:
    {Base Damage * [(Ed from HoW + Ed from Might + Ed from grizzly)/100 + 1]}

    {} = Round down

    For the minimum damage that leaves us with:

    {300 * [(153 + 230 + 215)/100 + 1]}
    {300 * [(598)/100 + 1]}
    {300 * [5.98 + 1]}
    {300 * 6.98}
    2094 Would be the Grizzly's total Minimum Damage with all those skills at lvl20.

    So this is correct ?
    lvl 48Grizzly dmg 6521-6699

    Lvl 48 Grizzly -- +495%ed
    Lvl 45 HoW -- +328%ed
    (9.23)

    Grizzly base dmg --1096-1126

    Grizzly dmg Total with HoW ---- 10,116 - 10,392

    You should be ashamed to call that a dedicated Summon build & you should not knock on Summons until you take it all the way baby !

    Lvl 97 (2 years on same charactor, had no other)
    Spirit Wolf - 45
    Dire Wolf - 45
    HoW - 45
    Grizzly - 48
    That's dedicated !

    Just retired him since 1.10 but bring him out for fun sometimes in PVP :)
    I now have a lvl 91 (1.10) Wind/Grizzly Build which is kickin' !

    The Druid Summon listed w/high Summon mods is not Wind Grizzly . Just to clarify :)

    My lvl 91 Wind Druid is composed of :

    Heart of Oak (runeworded) Flail/weapon
    Chains of Honor/armor
    +3 ELE/34mf ammy
    Rare Druid helm -- +2Druid/+2Hurricane/+3Tornado w/5-4 Cold facet (paid 2Vex for this)
    Arachnid's Mesh/belt
    Magefist/gloves
    Stormshield w/UM
    War Travs 48mf
    2 sojs

    SKILLS

    3ELE charms all w/7%frw
    7Summon charms -- 3x7%frw & 4x45life

    Cyclone Armor - 1240 absorbed
    Tornado - 3148-3314
    Hurricane - 1842-1936

    I have'nt even touched ELE yet , for I can add 7 more charms & be kick Arse . I love having a Grizzly though because of Black Souls & them Bass-turds on Act4 going to Diablo . If they can kill a 4000Life Grizzly in one hit after they cast (Amplify ?) ??? I cast Grizzly in front of me & just break out Hurricane & Tornado & feel VERY safe .

    I feel this will be the best survival build in 1.10 PVM for Druid .

    10k damage hitting grizzly and ITD + knockback + stun.. That sounds like a summoning which is same as 10 skeletons at least. :)

    The build isn't as bad as you make it out to be... I only have +10 summons, and I'm progressing (although slowly) through hell. The main problem people seem to have is killing speed with this build. He's not a powerhouse like a dual tree sorc or a hammerdin, but he is a lot safer to play in HC. In HC you'll be using oak instead of HoW though, so your damage will be somewhat reduced. The most difficulty you'll have is with PIs, since your summons do pure physical damage. Believe me, they can be a real pain. The only solution I've found to this is giving your merc a lot of elemental damage, or keeping a bow with %chance to cast amp. Otherwise, you'll quickly find that you can't proceed very far in hell without some major help.

    Everyone is asking for numbers so I crunched a few for ya'll using the "alainpp66 template". Also, the one variable I could not figure in was the Enraged bonus for Dire Wolves... does anyone know how much their damage goes up when they eat a body? I never got an answer.

    Level 20 for all skills:
    Base Dire Wolf Damage: 69 - 74, avg. 71
    Might Merc with level 20 might available at merc level 70 (easy considering how fast they level up at later levels).

    Total damage = (base * [grizzly bonus + HoW + MightMerc]/100 + 1)
    Total damage = (71 * (215% + 153% + 230%)/100 + 1)
    Total damage = (71 * (5.98 + 1))
    Total damage = 71 * (6.98)
    Total damage = 495.58

    Just for fun I'm gonna calc out level 30 summons with level 25 HoW... this is definately attainable by most people, even if you're poor. +3 summoning skills amulets and helms with +1 druid skills and stuff are common magic items you can find with even a little gambling. Onwards...

    level 30 summons with level 25 HoW

    Dire Wolf level 30: 151 - 166, avg 158

    Total damage = (base * [grizzly bonus + HoW + MightMerc]/100 + 1)
    Total damage = (158 * (315% + 188% + 230%)/100 + 1)
    Total damage = (158 * (7.33 + 1))
    Total damage = 158 * (8.33)
    Total damage = 1316 per hit per wolf!

    Considering you have 3 wolves and they can get enraged, thats some pretty decent damage right there - more than I thought at least.

    I believe it was posted somewhere else (different thread that got fried when the boards were wiped) that an enraged wolf has damage doubled. I don't think it affects attack or movement speed though. Thus the enraged damage for the first case would be 996 damage and the second case gives a whopping 2632!! This is assuming that the enraged bonus is applied separately from the others, since I think it goes to base damage directly. Conclusion: be nice to the wolves, they can kill ;)
