Summon Wolves

Just curious, I've been reading the posts (and witnessing online) that Grizzlies are the most suggested. How about Spirit Wolves or Dire Wolves? Is there a way to use them instead of Grizzly?

spirit wolves with spirit of barbs kind of works still.

but otherwise, grizzly is supreme.

Spirit wolves are mostly used for pvp and then not for damage but as 5 distractions. Some people use dire wolves as main summon but as mentioned nothing really can beat the bear.

Dire is just terrible, either Spirit or Grizzly.

Grizzly > Spirit when there is a wide spread attack, ala Frozen Orb, Teeth, Hurricane and whatnot.

Spirit > Grizzly for everything else especially FoH, Melee and Hammers.

You have to be more general and think outside the pvp box for pvm dire wolves can be a great summon and are much better the spirit wolves.

my pvm summoner uses the grizzly against uniques/champs, spirit when in normal and most of nightmare and dire for those inbetween situations in nm and hell.

Being a Pure Summoner myself, I would suggest Dire Wolves for packs of Monsters & then Grizzle for that one tough Bass-turd

I agree with that in general. Dire wolves just wither in front of any act Bosses They can't take as much damage as the Grizzly but on the whole, I think dire wolves deal more damage to monsters than a single grizzly so I use them in general.

Mine's not a pure summoner though (ie. non-maxed spirit wolves) so I don't know how effective spirit wolves can be.

hi i m quite new towards druid,i mostly a pally guy,

made mi wind-druid today and was wondering which is better for PVP?
dire,spirit,or bear bear?

cause if it was dire wolfs i could save a point and get it in oak sage =x

Wolves are for dueller,... (the wolves are good to take the foh from foh pala's, very usefull is u ask me..)

Bear is the best for pvm,.. duel bear sux..
