    Suicide Novamancer?

I was thinking of making a new kind of Necromancer. a SUICIDAL Novamancer.

    10x PnB Gcs / Anni / 9x 20 life Scs

P Death's Wand with 5/5 Die Psn Facet
2 soc +2 Nec 20 all Res Circlet with 5/5 Die Light / Cold Facets
Homunculus (not L, no Spirit  ) with 5/5 Die Fire Facet
    Enigma
    Spider
    2x SoJs
    Mara's
    Marrow Walk

My skills will be MAXED Lower Resist / Poison Nova / all its Synergies.

This build won't be about FCR / FHR at all.

If I was Ladder it would obviously be much better with Infinity Merc.

I'll Lower Resist, tele, PNova, tele, tele, run, run, type "wait" with my left hand while still running, die, and hopefully my facets can kill em. (will only work vs. melee or close range casters such as Hammerdins)

Hopefully, my PNova can bring down an opponents health near 1, and I'm just relying heavily on Facets can kill him.

Does your facets manage to hit many times? I'm afraid they will just dodge and my death will be for nothing... :(

    Will this build be viable?

Someone else was working on a similar idea but I think there was some question as to whether facets of the same type stack or not.

I have posted about this build couple months ago but didn't get any real useful feedback.

I'm pretty sure that different facets stick together. 96% sure.

Just use normal poisonmancer gear, with a 6 die faceted crystal sword (atleast one of each type) and a 4 die faceted shield. Then duel regularly and hit weapon switch before you die

If that was you, I seem to remember suggesting that you stick with lightning facets since Blizzard and Meteor would be easy to sidestep and nova will stop at 1 point of Health. A paladin would be awesome because he could have a super high conviction and the attack would likely hit before his aura disappears. Stacked resists do nothing against conviction but they could counter all that -lightning resist.

The -res/+dmg from facets do stack, but you will only have one psn nova at death.
Relying on that the enemy should have 1hp is very stupid imo. The best way is to use a good duel equip, and just duel as usual. Just make sure you have one item socketed with a die facet, and then you could always take him out with you when you die if lucky. Your chances are higher if you are better equipped...

I would say let him go for it, although a lightning facet is most definitely the best option, and a cold facet would be the second best. fire facets have the nasty ability to kill the types that stand on top of your body, lol. They don't see the little circle on under their feet. Its a good way to deal with naked killers. Good luck with it!

Hmm... Maybe I should do this with a Rabies Druid? Then I'd have greater chance of reducing enemy's health to really low wouldn't I? :D

no point in going with a suicide rabies guy. Rabies can already kill on its own. You would be better off with making a standard rabies/fury guy and just running like hell after you bite.

I was the one working on a suicidaldin...the project is halted atm due to the need of funds for other projects...

And, yes, that would seem viable, since Blizz seems to hit almost all the time, and if oponent has 1 life, than even poison nova can kill...

But you shouldn't max Lower Resists, I believe the diminuishing returns are pretty heavy pretty early..
