[SUGGESTIONS] Fireclaw/Fury Wolf

As some may know, I have somewhere around 16 characters that I want to make, and this will be my fourth (Exp) char (w/ 1 Classic Char who will become Exp when I'm bored w/ HF Rushing)...

So, I was thinking about BIG attack speed, AR, LOTS of fire dmg...

Stat Allocation
STR - Around 100 Base
DEX - None
VIT - Rest
ENE - None

Skill Allocation
Shape-Shifting
1 Werewolf (Duh!!!)
20 Lycanthropy (Extends WW)
1 Werebear (Pre-req)
1 Maul (Pre-req)
1 Feral Rage (Pre-req)
20 Fire Claws (Primary Attack)
1 Rabies (Pre-req)
20 Fury (Secondary Attack)

Elemental
20 Firestorm (Synergy)
1 Molten Boulder (If I ever use spells, I won't use this one, but it's still Synergy)
20 Fissure (Synergy)

Summoning
1 Oak Sage (Extra Life!!!)

Equipment
Jalal's Mane
Gloom Archon Plate
String of Ears
Lava Gout*
Gore Rider
The Cat's Eye
Ravenfrost
Rare Ring - Resists
Upgraded Ribcracker

Highlights
90% FHR
90% IAS
+55-60 Dex (AR!!!)
+30 Str
+2 All Skills and +2 Shape Shifting
60% FR/W
65% CB!!!

* Does the CtC Enchant work while in Wolf form? If it does then that is why I chose Lava Gout... Only 2% CtC (IIRC), but Lvl 10 Enchant + Lvl 24 Fireclaws + Synergies = UBER FIRE DMG (IMO, I think... Need to test it ) If not, then I guess Laying of Hands for the 350% Dmg to Demons? Will work great with Fury!!!

So... Please feel free to make any comments, recommendations, etc. I greatly appreciate it. I really think this could be a fun character.

I don't know if this will work for a wolf, but when I had my fireclaw werebear I used a 6 shaeled phase blade. It worked just fine :D, but i'm sure a ribcracker would do a better job.

If I'm not mistaken, it would work the same way, but what is the dmg on a Phase Blade? A pitiful 31-35? But the Ribbie's dmg when Upgraded becomes a base of 75-107 as a Stalagmite, plus the 200-300%ED, plus 50% Crushing Blow, and plus the Faster Hit Recovery.... Not to mention the 30-65 added dmg...

Phew... I think a slower but higher dmg weapon is worth it.. IMO though...

you still have the switch options. for fire claw you damage is mostly fire. you need a fast attack weapon, physical damage is useless.
an azurewarath is godly, but for those like me without a 6 shaeled PB will get 5 fps in wolf form and 4 fps attack in bear

DUH!!! I can't believe I didn't think about that... GREAT point...

Hmmm... Of course that depends on if I find a PB, and w/ 6os... And the fact that I don't like the looks of PBs... IMO they look cheesy... What could be a good replacement?

30 + (6x20) = 150% IAS... Whoa!!!

No, but I'm a fan of looks on the Inventory Screen

INFO --> To hit a 5frame Fireclaw in Wolf form, I would need a 6os Weapon w/ a WSM of -20... *Taken from the Dragoon's Wereform Calc* That basically means a 6os PB... yuck! Well, for the main attack, I guess this allows me to use Stormshield for the DR%, correct?

To hit a 5frame Fury, I would need the Ribbie to remain NON-Upgraded, with a Shael... Plus 40% IAS from somewhere else (Ammy/Gloves)... But that would mean less dmg...

If the Ribbie is Upped w/o a Shael... 7frames
If the Ribbie is Upped w/ a Shael... 6 frames (More dmg)
Non-Upped w/o Shael... 6 frames (Less Dmg)
Non-Upped w/ Shael... 5 frames (Less dmg)

I think I will go with the Upped Ribbie with a Shael  1frame won't make THAT much of a difference, considering it IS my SECONDARY attack, not primary...

For the record, with slvl1 Werewolf and a couple of +skills (effective slvl 3 is good enough), you do not need 6 Shaels in a Phase Blade to hit the 5 fps breakpoint. You can do it with 4 Shaels and 2 IAS jewels as well (the target is 110% IAS). If you have nice IAS jewels, that might be something to look into (of course, if you are like me, your only prefixed IAS jewel has +10 AR and so is essentially worth nothing more than a plain one, but... >_>).
