So:

Here is my question:

Can a pure trapper be converted to a 1 point dragon tail kicker with minimal changes and be able to handle the ubers. I am level 90 now, so I would say I will not make it past 1 point.

I am goina guess it is probably not possible....but I love my build and such now, and its done, and I was just curious.

Gear cost is....overall not much of an issue, I can afford most things.

Hoto
Spirit Shield
Enigma
2 BK rings
Chancies
Goldwrap
War Travs

Merc with infinity

I know the main change would be to get gores, and from reading the guides, possibly get a couple changes for adding CB while I was doing the actual ubers.

I feel like a lost kid after reading all the guides. I know I could rebuild and make it work, but I really would prefer not to .

It's going to be difficult I think. You'd like to have a level 18+ DTalon for the amount of follow up kicks (you gain a kick each 6th level), but in your case getting level 12 is already going to be a little stretchy (you probably are going to end up with something like a spirit PB as kicking weapon).

Perhaps you could get an MA skiller or 3 if they help you reach a next breakpoint. They shouldn't be expensive, although that might make them just as difficult to trade for.

I think I could get to level 12, I can go buy a couple MA skillers if need be ~.

Would I ever do enough damage to actually kill though? I am just curious, as I run keys to gain my wealth, but I would be really interested in upping the stakes a bit .

you could convert her for bosses, that im sure of. However ubers is a whole new ball game. I dont want to be pessemistic, but I dont think that converting her is a strong option.

You know, people always make kickers designed around putting JUST ENOUGH points to hit some 6th level to gain the kick so they can save a point or two.

I disagree with this completely, I don't care what your gear is, maxing D Talon is a must for me! Why? Damage and attack rating.

With a level 12 d talon, you probably will be too slow when leeching and die, but the biggest hurdle will be your attack rating. A maxed out DT gives a lot of attack rating, enough to get a massive chance to hit, which is not only a necessity for the ubers, but any part of the game.

If you want to do ubers, make a warrior monk. Simply put, a trapper (I assume you have maxed synergies so far) with only a low level DT won't cut it. Sure, you have the offensive, but other aspects, such as a higher level Fade, a maxed Shadow, various other points into Mind Blast, Cloak of Shadows, and other skills are a must-have for a successful assassin-lead uber run.

Damage doesn't mean that much to a kicker and AR can be prebuffed with a demon limb. The amount of kicks is the most important part of the skill as it directly affect the speed at which 'on striking' effects (in this case CB, OW and life tap) are applied.

If you can get that you might give it a shot if you have someone to back you up. Otherwise it seems smarter to me to level up a cheap (1 point) smiter. I think your average attack speed will be too slow for ubers with only 3 kicks.

Well - I might just go ahead and rebuild her and put the points I put into fireblast into DT - That should get me to level 18 DT.
