Strongest druid build out there?

Hi all!

Sorry for being in to much of a hurry to search the page for similar threads.
But i feel like starting a druid, so was just wondering; what's the strongest druid build overall? - if such happends to exist:tongue:

Thanks! Skjoldmose..

I would really love some respons. althoug wealth is not an issue, i am a total stranger to the druid, and would really love to try out a great build with it.

ps. I should maybe point out that i have made a elemental druid before, but thats it, i promise:)

The answer is simple:

No such thing as a 'strongest' build amongst any character class, they all vary, and all have different strengths and weaknesses.
If i were to tell you a certain 'build' were superior, it would only be my own opinion anyways (and i have no such idea in my head : P ).
I suggest you try whatever seems to suit your taste, and once you try it, you'll know whether its good for you or not.
I am sure there may be a druid build specifically best for you, but no one can tell you that besides, well, you.
Decide if you prefer Shapeshifting or elemental and from there, whether you'd prefer wind (cold/phys dmg) or fire (fire/phys dmging spells), or wolf specific attacks versus bear specific ones, or a combination between the two.
I could go into more detail between differences, but those are all explained in some wonderful guides posted on this site.

There's no best build. Each one has strengths and weaknesses. And I find it ironic that you're in too much of a hurry to read the guides yet you'll bump your thread asking for responses >.>.

Well after some thought and the reading of your guys posts, i would admit that i was a silly question.

*beaten my self up*

But i will take you on your word Jayson:)

I have decided to make a werewolf build. i've asked around and it looks like that the advantages of a werewolf suits me just fine!
But i have also search the sticky for a guide, but dont seem to be able to find the right one, but then again, im not that into shapeshifters, so maybe i dont know what exactly to look for. perhaps if any of you either have a link, (maybe from the sticky which i have then just not read good enough) og some basics about a werewolf.

Just trying to get the hang of shapeshifting druids because they seem to be lots of fun!

hope to hearing from you, even though the subject has change quiet a bit:)

later!

Edit: Not saying that there isn't any werewolf guides (doh!), but im just not sure if im looking at a special kind of werewolf build or what else to make of it. *Banging my head at the table because of my stupidity* :D

Well, tell us what you want the build to do?

Do you want one meant for melee? General pubbing?

Do you want a 10k life behemoth or a hybrid with lower life?

Do you want a secondary attack or do you just wanna whack people?

Well i was thinking of pure wolf (melee).
So was thinking of maxing werewolf, lycan, feral rage and fury?

Further more it would be nice if my druid had some tank abilities; lots of life, but i dont know if there is a way to combine those two other then putting leftovers in oak sage?

I would like a secondary. as i understand, correct me if im wrong, feral rage is for specific bosses and fury for all others?

Ooo I almost forgot to ask if this was PvP or PvM >.<

For PvM your build is fine. However, For PvP Feral isn't a great skill. I'd recommend Rabies for a secondary skill then.

Im thinking PvM, the reason for all the questions is just to make sure that i dont forget anything and get the full out of my wolfie:)

In that case I'd recommend a quick search for BJam's "Ribcracker Druid" Guide. It's initial design is for Ubers. However, a few gear changes (namely charms) will make it a very efficient general PvM Character.

Funny i was just going to ask you if it would be smart just to follow BJ's guide on gear for example. but i guess i have gotten my answer:D

My first char on b.net is a feral/fury ribcrackering druid. This build works extremly well for me. Nice sounds too and a lot of furying whacking fun : ))

The only problems are the PI. For this I use Reapers Toll on merc, Atmas Scarab and/or Baranars Star on switch. Maybe there are better setups like azurewrath, but this works for me nicely.

My favorite anti-PI switch was a Shocking Phase Blade of Quickness with 2x Shael, a 50 fire or 100 Lightning damage jewel in a Tiamat's Rebuke, and before the days of Dracs, an Atma's was a PvM standard (personal preference, and I was used to 4 fpa at all times to even be competitive, so I DESPISED slowing down to Bstar speeds). Wonder if anyone even keeps those swords anymore...as long as the thing wasn't PI/LI, it got pwnt by that sword, and even if it was, by the time it was almost dead, amp would have triggered and I'd be switching back to the hurty stick on main anyway.
