    Stripping your characters of gear?

I was wondering, does anyone else have to transfer there good items from character to character in order to pvp/play etc?

I have some nice items (20/5's 3/20/20's CoA etc...) but I only have enough for one character. So I usually have to transfer my charms or CoA when going from my barb to my pally etc.

This lets me play a lot of strong characters and have variety, without being uber rich or sacrificing performance.

Although it does get tedious at times. Does anyone else do this on a regular basis or do you just keep trading/mfing until you do gear out new characters?

I stayed with one character until I was able to get what I needed for the next one. When that one was geared, I would do the same all over again. No need to transfer items between characters unless I was remaking them completely.

It is happening for me in the paladins case of lackness:

I have a Uber Paladin Zealer Smiter which I use to smash Ubbies heads , and a Paladin Smiter Charger PvP only. Unfortunately I've goy only one from each of following: perfect grief, Zoded eth upped Zaka , 20/20/x anni, GC Combat 40 life x 5 and one Gc Offensive 42 life.

I call it pallies case of perfectionists

i want my charcters ready to go, I couldn't do this because i don't have the patience...if its a lot of work for me to track down items in order to gear up a char i would probably get bored and log off

i dont pvp tho, i guess thats sligtly different

Yea, it does get tedious, I do it mostly with pallies as well. Thinking about getting another coa and more pcombs.

I dont, if i need 2 CoA's I will get two CoA's. Having to do that all the time would annoy the living **** out of me.

Ok, with CoA is no problem geting heands on ... but let's see how you manage to get another 20/20/x anni , or 5 Gc combat 40 life, knowing that your build spent all the stats points and needing full str boosters to equip the HoTO and the upped shaft.

Never happened to you to badly needing those +2 str to equip all the fine items and not boder the maxed resis? That is suppose to be the diff. between anni 18/20/x and 20/20/x ( this only to give an example )

Ah fair enough then, im not that fussed with my PvP Chars to need a 20/20/x on each char, as long as the anni's on each of them are 15+/20/x then im fine with it.

i dont want to take the chance of losing the items in game due to lag/blizzard dropping or internet going out by chance...
i just equip each the best i can

That's why everybody is using trade method for interchange and not droping method.

No matter the lag or connection fails, the item doesn't desapear if using trade method for changing gear, you find it at one or another from your chars.

Re: Stripping your characters of gear?

I never strip my characters, so if I'm going to equip a new one, I will have to gather new stuff instead of selling the gear of others. That's not to be confused with muling. I'm actually muling a lot, but there are people are far worse hoarders than me :azn:
