Strength Bugged Equipment

Hi, Just had a quick question. I noticed a lot of pvp guides suggest using str bugging to allow the char to use as little str as possible.

Now in pre 1.11 i remember str bugging made u have a chance of body popping and losing items that were str bugged. Is this still the case? I know they have the multiple body system but i heard people still bug.

IF you do manage to bug your character and die chances are you will not be able to re-equip all the items you had equipped prior to your death due to the strength requirement, without the use of Strength SCs. This being said, AFAIK, if you die twice without recovering your entire setup there is a chance that you lose some gear. I'm not 100% on this subject because I refuse to bug my characters. Maybe someone more experienced can elaborate on this. :thumbsup:

No u can str bug and still be able to equip ur items but the str bug most ppl use is rellying on torch and anni for stats and putting just enough str + dex for the torch and anni to make up the rest.

This is the safest way as ur torch and anni is a fixed inventry item.

The way both of u described is how u do not str bug, i.e this way is when ppl use items like str ring or amu to get them enough str to say put on an armour then when the get the armour on the substiute that str ring for a normal ring.

When they die they then need to get that str or dex ring a again to help requip there items.

I use the str bug method but one rule i follow is that u should always be able to equip ur gear in 1 click, i.e not needing toget other items to help u requip items, not only is this long and a nuisance but if ur in a pub and someone is nking u ur in trouble as if u die with ur gear half equiped and have 2 corpses and leave game, the corpse with the most value in gold is kept and the other is lost, hence u lose some items.

ah ic that clears up some things.What i meant by str bug was What if you wear something with weapon requiring 100 strength And u have base strength 40. If u use nigma it will push it up to 100 strength due to the +Str mod on nigma. Now if u die will u be able to equip the weapon in one click? AKA any risk of losing items?

Many peeps that use "nigma strengh setup" (or any high strengh bug) as u said have lost some items in place like cow levels, when they were getting their corpse back because they clicked on an armor on the ground before... So : can't use ur nigma back and cant get ur stuff back on you and if you invent is full and u leave the game that way, u'll loose all ur equip, yes. Key is, if u mostly pvm, make sure you have some room in ur invent. If your pvp, "picking-some-stuff-before-getting-corpse-and-loose-everything" isnt a bad deal.

And yes, if your body is clean, u gonna get all ur equip back in one click in that case.

This has happened to me once or twice... where you use a low durability nigma armor. Torch and anni are putting u into the armor which puts you into your items. You get mobbed or hit hard in the game and the armor goes to zero dura and rendering it un-useable although you are still wearing it. You lose use of your shield or something cuz you don't have nigma str bonus anymore and you die. Then, you can't get your body because you lack the strength for everything now. Unless you have an half empty stash or a friend there, you could be in trouble.
