Strange bug in 1.07?

Was searching for andy in hell mode, and teled down from jail...Once in catacombs 2, i found the wp. But no cata 3! i thought it was a bug, so i searched it all over again, but same result! have some1 else experienced this?

Ps. lvl 58 with sorc now

I still play quite a bit of 1.07 and I hadn't heard of that one. I know that on
some maps in pre-1.10 versions there was no entrance to the Crystalline
Passage from the Arreat Plateau, so I can't say that I'm really surprised.

If you are looking for a cat III way point... there never has been one. Never will be.

If you mean the stairs down to Cat III from cat II, I'm sure there is one. People post here all the time with "There aren't any stairs!' only to post again later that they found them. Happens a lot with the chest in the Flayer Dungeon as well. Keep looking.

Yes, that would work. If it happens again do a print screen of the mini map and post it here.

This type of discussion is really THAT pointless. Next time, if you have a bug to report, let's present all the information, m'kay? Screen shots of your map, map seed, stuff like that.

Anyhoo... switching maps by changing difficulty will certainly solve your "problem" as you will then search out the area naturally. That's what you should have done originally, but hey... what ever gets you to do it.

By the way... welcome to the forums. We usually ask for an intro thread so we can get to know you a bit. Get some shin guards on because I think you're in for the ritual shin kicking one way or the other.

It's happened before. Sure there was a lack of information/proof, but they're fun things to look at and I've even had it happen before, IIRC with somewhere in Act 5.
