still question after 2 years playing.....

1. If I do hell forge with a friend, both of us not yet complete the quest, is it true that two runes will come out?

2. I see threads saying weapon IAS, breakpoints, I don't understand...If I SHEAL 2 grandfather for a barb, 20 IAS glove, how far do I need to reach the max speed for WW?

3. I know the MF increase chance to get items, if the chance to get WF increase, it means the chance to get a healing potion increase too. What is the point to have more MF  ?

thx :)

hmmmm i'm kinda noob still but i know the answer to two of these questions (i hope)

1. No, if both and ur friend both dont have the quest completed, only one rune will drop out, that is why it is best to have one (either u or ur friend) leave the party when smashing the soul stone so then u can recreate a game and next time, the other one leaves and u'll both get the rune.

3. More MF means more items drop which means more regular (and socketed) as well as more of a chance unique or set items getting dropped when u do runs.

1. No, only one rune will drop in a game, so before smashing the soulstone, one of you should unparty. Then do the quest again in another game.

2. Only IAS on the weapon itself counts for WW, so a GF can't reach the final breakpoint.

3. MF doesn't affect the item type that is generated, only the chance to be magical. That means the quota of hydra bows or potions won't change, but the probability of them being unique, a set item, rare or magical is increased which means the number of WFs found will be higher. BTW, potions aren't magical (their name is displayed in white) and as only one type of potions exist, MF doesn't influence them anyway.

Actually, if you want to get more regular and socketed items, you'll want to have as little MF as possible. Krischan explained why.

1. I just want to add, that while only one rune drops, twice the normal gems drop with two players. If it's 6 players, for example, 6 times the normal amount of gems will drop.

2. IAS breakpoints are how much IAS you would need to reach a certain FPA breakpoint (frames per attack; how much frames are needed for an attack to take place). For example, if you needed 50%IAS to reach the 8 FPA breakpoint (bp), and 100%IAS to reach the 7 FPA bp, even if you have 95%IAS total, you would only be reaching the 8 FPA bp; the same as having 50%IAS. I hope that made sense.

This is not true. MF does not in any way influence the amount of items (or which type) will drop. MF only influences whether an item that drops will be unique/set/rare/magic.

this is the way it works:
1: you kill a monster
2: how much will the moster drop, will it drop at all?? (the chances of this depends on number of players in game)
3: what will the monster drop?
4: will the item be unique? if not>
5: will the item be set? if not>
6: will the item be rare? if not>
7: will the item be magic? if not>
8: will the item be sup? if not>
9: will the item be normal? if not>
the item will be cracked/low quality.

Steps 4-7 are influenced by mf.
Not sure where in this it is rolled whether the item will be eth.
