SteelSeries Diablo 3 Mouse, Headset, more Mousepads at E3

Apparantley SteelSeries has announced a bunch of Diablo 3 peripherals at E3, inline with what they've already done with Starcraft 2.

Anyone going to buy in to the mindless consumerism? I know I am  (as collector items of course, my Logitech MX Performace mouse and G930 headset aren't going anywhere).

I haven't bought into any of the official steel series stuff except a WoW mousepad I got a few years ago, which is actually really nice btw. I may look into getting a D3 mousepad if they do more designed, none of those look to nice, but I prefer logitech for my peripherals.

I just hope they start announcing some new books in the near future.

The Barbarian mousepad was actually released last year. The Witch Doctor one is new though.

If they put out a keyboard, I'd think about it. Nothing wrong with my G15, but it's starting to get all discolored and faded. If I had the cash, I'd drop it on a new one.

Get a Razor Naga. Perfect mouse for RPG's / MMO's.

So true, I finally got the last figure I wanted, Baal's minion, from the original D2 release. They'll be putting out some figures for SC2 later this year and expectantly looking forward to a line of D3 figures as well.

That is what I own also. You can't go wrong with the Naga. If I didn't own one I would consider buying that mouse.

It's quite possible, Diablo 3 being full 3D now, we will be able to print figures of our own characters :)
They do it for WoW already.

I was wondering if 10 Million clicks is enough, but I guess we'd just go though 2-3 mice a year insted of 6

LOL it will probably be at least 3x more expensive. Might as well just buy 3 cheap mice. I'll stick to my crappy cheap Wal-Mart mouse that works as well as any I've used.

I don't like Razor products, specialy mice' look doesn't suit me. I'm a huge fan of Logitech though. Previously I got G500 mouse and now I bought G9x Laser Mouse and am very happy with it, great mouse!

I've been happily using a G9 for a few years now. I use the extra buttons quite extensively in WoW. The higher DPI of gaming mice won't make much a difference if you have software acceleration turned on (the majority of people do since it's defaulted that way) the only real benefit you get from that is if you turn off the acceleration, which is only marginally effective in increasing accuracy in my experience. But the extra buttons and programmable macros are a godsend for sure. You could map almost every single skill to a G9 (all of them if using a Naga) and barely have to touch your keyboard.

I also got a G15 keyboard after being so enthralled by the mouse but I'll admit I've never once used the G-Keys on it and the only time I use the LCD display is to see who is talking on vent if playing with someone new, so if I had to get a new keyboard I'd probably go with something cheaper.
