Stats for Lightning sorc?

Hello,

I'm currently leveling a lightning sorc for pure MFing. I'm not sure lightning was the way to go, but I picked it because it seems the funniest :yes:

Aanyway, I'm kind of wondering about the stats.

Strength: ~90iish?
Dex: None
Vita: Rest

However, how much energy should I put in there? I've read some guides where you should put like 300-350 energy and some guides that say none. What to do? At the moment I'm pumping potions like mad, but I'm a pretty low level. However I'm pretty poor (thus the MFing :yes so I wont be able to pimp up the sorc once it hits a decent level. So how much energy shall I take? And also is 90 a good amount of strength?

normally you just have enough str to wear all ur equipment, 90 should really be more than enough in most cases for sorc gears.
and regarding the energy, most guides say none in energy, simply because they are assuming you have good enough gears to boost up the mana pool, so since you said you dont have extremely good gear already, I would pump up on energy a little bit. not as much as 350, but may be start out at 100 or so, and try to get gears that can boost your mana; they are not all expensive, some you can get at a low cost, like frosties for example, they give +40% max mana, and they are rather cheap.

Aight, thank you. Also asked a guy ingame who said energy was good for energy shield which I have one point in? =)

Energy Shield is garbage unless you pump telekinesis too.
