Stats and Skills help please.

Hi guys, my first post here, i played d2 sp with version 1.9 for some time cuz i didnt have internet, and then when i finaly got it i stoped playing.
But few days ago i installed d2 again, and started playing on batllenet.
I forgot alot of things, so first thing i do, scroll through some char guides, to find some nice guide for fury druid, my fav char when i played back then.
When i got to some 7x lvl, i heard that just fury druid is not to strong anymore, and that now some other kinds of ww are used (rabies/fury) or somethin' like that.
Now i allready come to lvl 82, and i dont feal like making new char, so i am asking is there any way to save what can be saved, and have any chance with just fury druid.
My main question is, i used all points as guide sugested(it looks smth like this)
20 to ww , lucantrophy, furty and spirit of oak + pre reqest obv
I curently have 7 skill points and i dont know on what to spend them and upcoming points.
I read somewhere it shoud be prolly invested in bear and cyoclone armor, so i am just checking is there some better posibility.
Next one is what to do with stat points i have 30 at the moment (and some more obv comming)
Untill now i spend mostly on str and got vitality to 165 as build i read sugested + some points in dex.I guess you can help me easyer when i describe my equipment.
That leads to my third, and for now last question - good old equipment.
For now i am using IK maul with ik gauntles belt and boots (i dont have armor, but i'm trying to find it) and i plan to use it untill i find all of other tier 1 equipment, and once equipment presents no problem, what shoud i wear one handed weapon + shield, or two handed weapon?
Friend gave me light saber, and i got spirit, and he advised me to use that, but as much as all stuffs on spirit are nice, ik dmg sooo outwage all things it lacks (at least to me).
By my nature i like asking alot of questions, and i c d2 is way more complex in mp, then it looked to me in sp, so that's why i would really apriciate help from fellow druid friends.

one word: ribcracker. it has crazy amounts of crushing blow.
Also pvp or pvm? rabies isnt exactly that great for pvm.
Your skill layout looks ok, you could put the points into the bear or cyclone armor.
For your stats ask yourself this: are you going to use a shield? If yes, put points in dex for maxblock (with a real blocking shield such as stormshield, not with spirit, spirit sucks for blocking...), if no dump everything in vita.

The way most people add their stats now is to only add enough into str to be able to wear your gear, then everything else goes into vitality. If you are going to use a shield and you want max or high block, then add some into dex too. None into mana. I would say that a fury druid can work, it's just like any other physical char. But I've never made one so I'm not sure how they work.

Oh, sorry, i forgot to mention that - ONLY P V M, i dont plan doing any p v p, so just P V M
Well as i said, i dont know what is better as ultimate equipment for p v m fury druid, 2hw or 1hw and shield, and what exacly weapons.
BTW whats best p v m armor that i shoud get? coh? enigma? i heard coh is better in p v m

That... was amazingly hard to read. Anyways:

Fortitude is the best all around armor for a PvM Fury Wolf.

Rest of points depends on what you want. That's the joy of Fury Wolves, heavily customizable.

Ribby should be your weapon of choice.

Ok so i will dump rest of stat points in vitality, but skill still bothering me.
Wolfs, cyclone or something third?

Again, it depends on what you want. Do you want a tank with you, a damage dealer, anti Gloam tech, what?

There are many "best builds". :) It all boils down to preference after you've statted out what's necessary.

For looks I love Cyclone armor (it looks sweet!) and it helps you against Gloams and such, as Verashiden pointed out. If that's what you're having problems with, go for that.

If you're looking for diversion to keep a few monters off your back, go with wolfs or bear summons, as they're great for that.

When it comes to PvM there's not really much that can go wrong after you've "completed" the build, so "best" is all down to preference.
Where others vote for i.e. a bear for tank, I vote for Cyclone armor just because of the extra safety versus Gloams (and looks!).

But getting points into bear increase his dmg, and thats useless because it will be low anyways, so when we talk about bear i guess you mean on wolf that increase his healt?

I think most people use bears for tanking and not for dmg. I'm not sure tho', as I don't use one, but that's my thought. So if you're going the bear way, I'd give him as much life as possible.

>.< Why am I repeating myself so much?

There's no "Best Build". It's all down to preference. One build will do just as well as the other, it's just a matter of what you wish to get.
