State of the game? 1.13

I think the last I played was back in 1.12 when rws were nearly essential, hrs were rare, and hammerdins were the only practical class cause' of hell mode resistances. I'm thinking about playing some while I wait on another game to release and was just wondering if 1.13 changed the game significantly in any way?

Hammerdins don't solo Baal anymore, wave 2 mages are really Immune to Magic this time. He can still beat them with a strong merc/Holy Bolt, bot it is slow compared to lightning/Infinity based characters.

Hell bosses drop sometimes various 'Essences', for ouf them (blue-yellow-red-green) can be converted with Cube into a Token of Absolution. With the Token and 3 times freely after completing Den of Evil quest you can restat/respec your skill and stat points.

And also HR drop rates are better, you see more of them (ppl run Travincal and LK like mad for 'em).

How did you get "lake of fire" from "LK"? I guess you could say it's short for lake, but theres no O or F anywhere. LK obviously means lich king see what he can drop here.

I think LK is Lower Kurast

right? people used to run there for HRs right?

It certainly is Lower Kurast
There are some chests that drop lots of things and with more players even more. I also used to run UK, there also are some chests like this beside the entrance to the temples and not only.

Hammerdins still solo baaling and yes they do holy bolt wave 2. It just takes them longer thats all.

to be honest its a bit easyer to get hr's .and rw gear nowadays, but the char build havnt changed since 1.12. its really handy to be able to reset your stats and skills though ^^

There is also 24/7 baal / chaos run botting and spambots in every non-public game. Dunno if this is a change from 1.12 as I last played during 1.10.
