Starting Ladder, what char to start off with?

i havent played ina while, and when i found out there was a new patch and new ladder season, i decided to play again. i was wonder what char would be the best choice to start off a brand new account. And i was also was wondering if non ladder is worth playing. i have some decent built chars in non ladder from 1.10.

I always start things off with a Blizzard sorceress for farming Meph, Andy, and Pindle. You can also do a Meteorb.

yea i was looking into a meteorb sorc..but i have nothing to start out with....im starting from scratch.

I started a hammerdin the very day the ladder started (USEast) and he made lvl 91 in like 5 days.
Necro summoner is a nice build to start with (if you have a fast computer, with a slow one it will make you lag) because skeletons get so strong and amp always is strong. No need to worry about life and resists until hell. Skills are fairly easy to get, even with no trading (Lore RW, Spirit RW (x2?), bone RW (requires 2 UM), magic/rare/crafted amulet).

When you get to hell, just run the pit in act 1 until you are in your high 80s or even try public baals.

What realm are you starting out in? I could use a fresh start myself, but I am too lazy to do it alone...

im starting on uswest ladder. so which would be best, meteorb sorc, hammerdin, or summoner?

any of those. Those are all good choices for untwinked chars.

I would also add to the list, pure fire sorcs. They are excellent for andy runs and easy to handle.
