starting char

    starting char

    hmmm im gonna start playing again pretty soon and i was wondering what character i should make first

    whenever i started fresh, i made a sorc to mf (tele :D) for herself and other chars but im not sure anymore..

    should i just make a hdin and just tough it out through the mf runs by walking until i find enough goods to buy a enigma??

    hmm what do you guys think?

    Start with an mf sorc.
    Walking around town with a gear less hdin will get you nowhere. The only reason hdins shine is because they can be twinked to the brim.

    A hammerdin can easily walk the game, because of "charge" - tp light. he also is an excellent first character. You can vary your mf-runs more(and not just meph), because hammers can kill everything, there are no immunities.

    You could make a frenzy barb and use goldfind/item find =O

    Necromancers are fun and their gear is pretty cheap. They're great untwinked as well, check the Necromancer forums! :rolleyes:

    I would say either a summoner necromancer, a meteorb sorceress, or a hammerdin.

    I usually make the meteorb, then the hammerdin once I can afford an enigma.

    I'd go for a Flight Assasin just to make a new start interesting.
