    Starting a Hunter

I am starting a hunter druid. I will be posting my progress in another thread, so be sure to check it out.

Also, I am new to single player, so I have basically a clean slate. Any sort of donations will be welcome. Anything will do, just keep in mind that mainly i need bows and items with mods like cold damge, psn, slow, ias, and that sort.

Thanks in advance to everyone who will read my thread and to anyone who donates!

    Wish me luck! :winner:

A hunter is ridiculously easy to play and addictive. Personally my hunter is using the eaglehorn and its all good for him. Have a widow maker on the switch for bosses.

Well, how much description do you want? Essentially you put all your points into summons (especially Heart of Wolverine--you need it for the AR bonus, since druids don't get any natural bonuses when using a bow) and shoot from the back while your summons tank for you.

Biggest problem is PIs, since none of your summons (apart from Poison Creeper, but I wouldn't recommend pumping THAT) does non-physical damage. I have a Hunter Druid in Hell Act 2, and it's only the Hellrack crossbow he keeps on switch which allows him to kill PIs at all!

Could you supplement this with a Volcano or something or is that stretching the points too thinly?

sent you a hellrack, laying of hands (you need level up a lot to use them), and two other low level (not top, but better than nothing) items.

    Check you email.

I suppose you could. My Druid has just maxed out all his required skills (Heart of Wolverine, Spirit Wolf, Dire Wolf, Grizzly Bear), but I haven't yet thought about any other skills I could use. I was pondering putting some points into Raven for the "Hit Blinds Target" ability...

Thank you for the items! They will be used to their fullest.

I've always wanted to do a hunter, but never got around to it mostly because I was busy with other chars.

I will make a thread to post his progress. Until then, I'm off to level!
