I'm a little TIEd up at the moment

There are approximately 12 types of TIE (Twin Ion Engine) vessels (TIE Advanced X1, TIE Avenger, TIE bomber, TIE Defender, standard TIE fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE shuttle, TIE/D fighter, TIE/fc fighter, TIE/gt fighter, TIE/rc vanguard, and the aborted TIE Phantoms).

    Here are two harder one:

In the novelization of the film "A New Hope", what is Luke's X-wing designation?
In the novelization of the film "The Empire Strikes Back", what color is Yoda?

Why is Dr. Who a better sci-fi concept than Star Wars?

*runs out of thread to avoid tomatoes*

Star Wars isn't technically science fiction at all. It's fantasy.

shut your mouth, we don't even have primary sources, let alone corroborative sources to lend any credibility

show me some documents you can prove were written "a long time ago" and see what you can do about proving their source, and then we'll talk

Don't forget the TIE Clutch, TIE/SN Scout, TIE Raptor, TIE Scimitar, and countless other bajillions of TIE-based craft :)

"History is nothing but a lie agreed upon!" -- Napoleon

Henceforth, I shall call thee a lie major, or a major liar, as the mood strikes me.

nobody agrees, not even that Napoleon Bonaparte said that, it's been attributed to him, but it could have been said by anyone, like his brother, Nibbles Bonaparte

Garbad is in training to become a lawyer, so you can't really believe what he says. Of course, I am a lawyer, so you can't believe me either.

    My favorite Napoleon quote:
NAPOLEON: What shall we do with this soldier, Guiseppe? Everything he says is wrong.
GUISEPPE: Make him a general, Excellency, and then everything he says will be right.

Of course, it was written by George Bernard Shaw, and not Napoleon, but how can you believe me?

Back to the trivia...R2-D2 appeared on Sesame Street and fell madly in love with ________.

There are not 12 types of TIEs. EU=/=Star Wars, it's not written by lucas.

There is the TIE bomber, the TIE fighter, TIE advanced (vader's ship), and the TIE intercepter.

    That's 4 that I count.

I don't think he actually reads them all, based on what he's said. Chances are he gets underlings to read them and if they're professional and don't have huge inconsistencies then they'll allow them. Lucas is a billionaire, he doesn't want to spend all his time reading star wars books and comics.
