    SS Mauling Bear

Hey, I'm new to the Druid. How should I go about this...

I have reached level 30 by putting points in str, vit, and dex. I have also put a little into nrg - is that bad? Focusing on Werebear and Lycanthropy along with Maul is what I have done so far in the skill tree. Should I max these? What should I do beyond this? And what equipment am I looking at for the future.

Welcome to the druid forum! :howdy:
Read the stickies and enjoy your stay.

Maul bears are pretty straightforward to build, the only big decicions you need to make are whether you want to use fireclaws or not and in which order to pump your main skills.
If you aren't using fireclaws you can max lycantrophy, maul and heart of wolverine, werebear and still have enough points to have a long duration in shockwave and even 1 point carrion creeper.
With a fireclaw hybrid you will have to leave maul, shockwave and oak sage at 1 point and later on decide whether you need the damage and attack rating of heart of wolverine or maul(HoW is better) or longer stun of shockwave. With these saved points you can max fireclaws and firestorm leaving molten boulder at 0 points for stone armor synergy to work.

If you still have questions don't hesitate to ask them.
Good luck with your bear!

Thank you, I already put about 10 in Werebear, Lycanthropy, and Maul. So I guess I won't be using Fireclaws... I'll go with the other route that you said.

What should I do about str, vit, dex, and nrg? And equipment?

hey and welcome to the forums. i dont think you should put any points into energy, as you should be relying on leeching to fill it back up. basically just look for high defense items, boosting up your resists, and faster hit recovery is always good.
