Spirit Keeper Shadow Plate?

Imagine one filled with 40/15 jewels...that's why they never enabled it, like Merman's etc.

I'm not sure, but I havent seen a Halberd's Reign yet...

I'm happy they took out Merman's though :S... Just look at it's mods! Those mods are better than a shako being converted into boots. And imagine if someone had an engima and a merman's. That's already over 100% FRW...

By the way, I noticed that not many druids on HC are using the Spirit Keeper helm. Have they even BOTHERED to take a look at its mods? Just because you wont get an extra +1 to ele or +2 to shapeshifting skills like you'd get from a Ravenlore or Jalal's/Cerebus', doesn't mean its worse. Besides, its +2 druid skills, so it fits every druid. Plus, instead of just giving you an even uber-rer fury or Armageddon, you also get +2 to your summons.

I'll just put the mods just incase anyone doesn't wanna check 'em up right now.

There was a Frostwind Champion Axe I think, it was utterly insane with 4 sockets, 100% crushing Blow and insane attack speed, but no enhanced damage.

Who on Earth designed Spirit Keeper, Frostwind and Merman's Sprocket anyway? Especially Sprockets, they are the most 00ber b00ts I've ever seen.

Lots of things weren't enabled. Picking through the MPQ's, you have:

Constricting Ring
Gore Ripper
Zakarums Salvation
Odium
Larzuks Champion
Giantmaimer
Darkfear
Nethercrow
Warriv's Warder
Merman's Speed (Merman's sprocket)
Sigurd's Staunch (Now a "feature" with 1.09 Nos coils)

And these are just the uniques. Too bad Blizzard edited out the stats and items types, because some of these sound really cool. Theres lots of things that never made it in the final game, including 50+ runewords. And seeing as there likely wil be no more patches, we're stuck with these items, at least until D3. Cheers!

You see, Mermans's were never enabled, I played the beta a lot, so I would know. ;)
About the spirit keeper shadow plate, Halabred's Reign Armet and Frostwind Champion axe-they don't even exist in the mpq's, it was a mistake. :teeth:

Wha? I'm looking at the 1.10 uniqueitems.txt right now and Halaberd's Reign is in there...enabled too.

I even have one, but it's Conqueror Crown, not Armet. :)

This was the first info, about Merman's, Spirit keeper Shadow plate(now it's earth spirit), Frostwind Champion Axe(it's Champion Sword), and halaberd's Reaign Armwet(Conquer Crown). It was posted on the AS "by mystake", altho online for only hour, it caused so much trouble...
Btw about items, consult with d2data.net, I found it good site for item info(TC's, Rarity, etc.) :)
