SPF is not playing "truth or dare" serious question
Greatings armsbrothers.
I am a recent addition to this realm, and admittedly limit myself to local incursions. I have therefor been biding my time mostly in the SPF Realms. I have a question, however, that they seemed you all much more qualified to answer. There is a long and rather amusing story behind it, but let's just say that I started LOD a week ago, and updated to 1.10 yesterday. (that is not near the exact timeline, but it suites my situation, as I am brand new to 1.10, and have only played 1.07 befro....anyways.)
I have a barbarian character that I want to play as a mute. Prety much completely (I am debating between potion and item finds, and grim ward because technically they wouldn't take a voice to accomplish.) Anyway I am asking for recomendations in 1.10 for a mute barb. I will admit I have a preferance for leapers, but am open to any and all suggestions. To help you out here are my stats: (no items)
Lvl 11
Skills:
Bash: 1
Leap: 1
To Be Assigned: 9
STR: 50
DEX: 20
VIT: 40
ENG: 10
and I have 15 left to assign.
I am currently in normal act 1. between the dark tower and the malus. (I spent the stat & skill points to get through tristram.) So which way to go, does anybody have a recomendation for a mute bard? Right now my skills are poised to go any direction. While I would prefer (strictly for unimportant personal reasons) to use a 2 handed axe, I will work with any successful build....so does anybody have advice for a mute bard, or is this one of those "take to level 99 and perhaps you can make it builds?
It was reccomended that I learn skills such as taunt for the synergies, but not use them to fulfill the mute requirement. That seems almost cheating to me, just cause I can't figure out how a mute warriour would learn battlecry skills....although, I can see using items such as a helm that adds to shout. (or any other skill creating item) because that is a magic effect and not dependant on natural ability. Not sure how that effects a non-twinked hc mute barbarian, but any advice as to which way to go will be hugely appreciated
