Was too grossed out by yesterday's attempt, so I tried again. Only 50 runs since that seems to be the new rule. Definitely went better, though of course it's easier to get a good score with fewer runs:

SC Berserker Barbarian
Category: p1 Pit

Runs: 50
Bosses: 401
Average Time: 57:523

That's the spirit, Fabian! And you are not even in form yet.

Since challenge is here, I'll post my zerker's best 50 runs. I wanted to finish that to 100, but no one posted anything about my question, so I decided to change runs to 50 for both Pit categories so we can get more crazy than ever.

SC Berserk barb
Category: Pit p1
MF: 745/625
Item Find: 55%
Runs: 50
Bosses: 401
Average time: 58.074
Efficiency: 4.67 sec/bosspack
Adjusted efficiency: 1.645 fabians

I pick up: small and grand charms, useful unique items, rare jewels

Note to everyone: I repeat, I changed number of runs required to do for both Pit categories from 100 to 50 since no one said anything.

I'll probably get bored of this soon enough, but might as well keep going while I'm at it. I tried recording a set, and it went ok but not great. The recording software caused lag and slowdown (5+ seconds of waiting between runs a minimum of 8-10 times probably, etc) and made it super difficult to play properly, so even though it was pretty decent in places, overall it wasn't that competitive (1.72 fabians, similar run time as these latest ones but much fewer bosses iirc). I'd upload it but as I say it's kinda meh in places. I did do another serious attempt though, with more bosses spawning which was nice:

SC Berserker Barbarian
Category: p1 Pit
MF: 810/660
Hork: 56%
Runs: 50
Bosses: 411
Average Time: 57:402
Efficiency: 4.48 s/boss pack
Adjusted Efficiency: 1.558 fabians

Had good boss pack luck this run, so this is the first one which I think won't be trivial to beat with a few attempts.

Might make a real attempt in AT this weekend, but ehh. Will be really hard to match that time again, and kind of lazy about socket quests/charms/runes/respec.

Just out of curiosity, because I haven't run Pindle in years, I took my Pitbarb there. 2 minutes of warmup, then straight to runs:

SC Berserker Barbarian
Category: p1 Pindle
MF: 810
Hork: 55%
Runs: 200
Average Time: 14:993
Efficiency: 4.84 s/boss pack
Adjusted Efficiency: 1.662 fabians

Was happy I managed to get under 15 seconds, it was hovering slightly above 15 for most of the runs. Obvious improvements to the strategy would be possible (switch out Insight on merc for Faith, or at the very least Reaper's or Infinity or Pride or whatever), put more than 1 point in Increased Speed, use additional FRW equipment possibly, I dunno. I made no changes from the usual Pit gear, so it shouldn't be viewed too seriously. Killing Pindle was actually somewhat slow, so if I was serious about it I'd definitely be looking at ways to increase damage (Beast off-hand, or some better merc weapon as mentioned above, 1.07 Ghoulhide, etc).

I gave my honest attempt at Pindle, respeced my goldfinder barb to give it a try. Made berserker out of pure feeling actually, targeted for 10k AR with dexterity, 2.3k life and rest into strength. Put 6 points to Battle Orders (why 6 have no idea, seemed nice :p), rest into synergy for zerk.

SC Berserker barb
Category: p1 Pindle

Item Find: 54%
Runs: 200

I really can't improve here. I tried my best, but can't seem to do better than this. Tested several times how fast are my runs when I everything do perfectly, meaning killing Pindle in 3 swings most immediately I teled to him, fast hork and s/e. Those times varied between 14.4 and 14.7 seconds. Once was 15.8 seconds for run like that. So I guess even if I want, I can't really improve my time here. Perhaps 15.5 is possible if I go all out and do everything perfectly, but I'm not interested wasting my energy on that. lolPindle etc. That fastest time of mine is quite good, probably did it after I screwed previous run and had fast save/load time for the next one. But I'm happy I'm among sub 16 pindle zerkers now, hopefully this will be good enough for top 5 position :p

I tried something "different". Well, not that different, but not quite popular. Rolled some random AT map that has entrance close to waypoint and tried windy on it. Already posted his Web find, so was worth it :p

Not quite competitive against those crazy sorcs, but first attempt passed very well. I improved my strategy of running while running, also learned my map better while running. Major problem is there are many physical immunes in AT, so you are slower in killing them cause it takes time to kill them with Hurricane + Arctic Blast. In beginning I casted Oak, but after certain number of runs I saw he is useless. Dies from first creep all the time, literally. So I didn't use any summon at all, only merc was my killing partner. Strategy is simple. Tele to entrance, cast Hurricane while entering, tele on boss and spam tornado till he dies. Again physical immunes spam Artic Blast until he dies. Some immunes are very resistant to cold damage, I skipped those naturally, it would take really too long to kill them.

Some disgustingly crazy good results here lately. Fabian, Nagisa, frozzzen and Gripphon confirmed OP.

2nd attempt at Mephi. Not the avg I wanted, but I'll let it be for now.

Equipment is the same as last time (second page of the topic) except that I changed gloves for Trang's, one Nagel for random fcr ring and Spirit is now 35% fcr. 105 fcr now, still using kill switch.

I saw many runs within some 22s-24s range, so I think if I played better that could be somewhat achievable. It apparently seems that I just suck at this game too much for that. My playing was full of mistakes, again :D

Picked one 191ed HoZ and -4/4 cold RBF. Blah.

Well done with a druid in AT Gripphon! Did you try/consider Reaper's on merc for physical immunes? Would that cause too much mana problems? Could be solved with one 1.07 MPK ring?

Since we were at AT today, I decided to make AT sorc for the first time ever (excluding non cta HC sorc I played barely any :p). I rolled some maps with her. Some seemed good, but turned out not so good after all. Then I rolled some fine map. Took some hour to practice a little at that map to give it a shot. Fair to say I didn't expect such good result. On map before I were ~7 sec/bosspack so I didn't think I can do it much better than that. I made that sorc just like I wanted her to be.

Playing AT sorc efficiently is not that easy. It requires some kind of strategy. Well some might say it's not hard like some builds, but I just know it's easier for me to play zerker than this sorc. She took a lot of energy out of me to stay at peak performance. Sure thing this is the first time I actually tried AT sorc like this, but I definitely don't look forward in doing it again. I somehow doubt I'm able to beat my time easily, perhaps after I get used to AT sorc things might get easier for sure.

Watch this if you want to lose your will to live:

This was a fairly good batch of runs, I didn't have to abandon a single time. On the other hand I teleported past every exp shrine.
Fwiw, at level 98 this average is approximately equivalent to 77s Baal runs or 48s CS runs (without exp shrines).
Comparing individual run times is fairly pointless, because 10-30% of the run time is the exit lag of the previous run. The time of an otherwise flawless run can vary between 18s and 25s. Great stuff...

I tried Reaper on merc with AT windy, but it made so much little difference in killing physical immunes that it's not worth it. I was not faster with it and it was more annoying to play. Insight just too good.

@ Phar
Go ahead with nec. It doesn't matter if some other builds are better.

@ Darkthrone
You could improve your gear before next attempt. Don't know what items do you have, but generally this is what you're missing:
Highlords amulet is absolutely best amulet you can have, it will improve your damage output a lot. That is must have for amulet slot if you have it.
What slows you down is your poor fcr breakpoint. With few teleports to get there + till you hork all members you lose considerable amount of time with that fcr. To improve on that part, see that you use switch with a lot of fcr which you will use for teleporting and horking. Dual Suicide Branch or combo with Wizardspikes or some mix of them is fantastic. You easily get 105 fcr breakpoint that will speed you noticeably. You don't need CtA, that's almost a waste. Your natural BO is more than sufficient for Travincal.

If you lack of those items, then simple way to get more fcr is to use Spirit sword in combination with Spirit shield. You can aim for 63 fcr then easily until you find those items to improve. I assume you don't have Hoto, if you do, use it.

Notes
Was originally just testing out this set up (hence the counter title) but then after about 20 runs I figured I was already about 10% done so might as well continue. I didn't bother to save and exit for the blank run and instead just ran Mephisto anyway. This way it will actually capture your best time. I have several gear/inventory changes I'd like to try out. I love running Mephisto (though this is the first time I've done him on players 3 instead of players 1 - didn't know about the no drop %) so I'll probably be doing this category a lot. My times suffered because I kept finding stuff (first world problems eh?). I should be utilizing telekinesis more to speed up my runs, too.

Apparently the formula to calculate your adjusted efficiency is in the first post, but I am blind and can't find it.

My fastest individual run was 23.824 seconds.

Oh, and Blizzard is buggy as hell.

Explanation about adjusted efficiency is in first post under first spoiler. I can't give exact formula because it depends on MF % you carry, unless I write down numbers for every MF % breakpoint in the game, which is up to 200. Your magic find is 580 which results in 174% better chance to get unique items. Therefore, your adjusted efficiency is 27.872/2.74 = 10.172

Also, you can do 100 runs for Mephisto. I think I changed from 200 to 100 first day, so you can definitely run more of Meph for the score.

I used switch to kill Meph. He is boring target indeed. I did some mistakes when running, so ended up killing Meph while he was next to a wall so he was like super resistant to damage. Then I remembered the best way to kill Meph is to port close to portal, drop blizzard in front of you and wait for Meph to come to you. That reduced some average time. Overall, it is possible to get lower average time for me. And especially for others who have faster computers. Killing Meph itself took less than 20 sec every run, but save/load time was horribly long for such fast target.

Strategy is simple. Telekinesis to open waypoint, Durance of Hate level 2, cast BO (ignore Battle Command, it only takes unnecessary time), few teles to entrance to Meph, go in, open character screen and fast tele in front of Meph, drop blizzard in front of you, wait for Meph to get in, spam Static Field until he is at 50% hp, blizzard again, spam ice blast, switch to kill, tele to portal, go in, save/exit.

Now, perhaps it can be better if you can tele right on top of Meph and start killing him, I might try that later.

Yeah there's a lot I could do to improve him. Thanks for the tip about Highlord's Wrath; I'll be sure to equip it next time I give it a go. I haven't done any optimizing about his weapon switch yet. He uses more hotkeys than any other character of mine, so it's a little confusing. I guess I'll have to practice. I have a Heart of the Oak so I'll be sure to use that next time!

And didn't notice the 100 runs. That's cool. Is it okay if we do more? I might do 100 from now on, but I also might do more if it's allowed.

And you noticed the Meph-against-wall-doesn't-die issue too eh? There are a couple spots there in Durance where he seems to take no damage at all from Blizzard, and you have to rely on your cool down spell. You could move but that probably takes more time. I try to teleport right on top of him but sometimes he moves.
