I get an HTTP 403 error on http://www.battle.net/
Might be just that - an error but then again it might also be an update... so let's do some wild speculation

they moved it all to http://classic.battle.net/
I think the're making a new battle.net

http://eu.battle.net/ works for me, http://www.battle.net/ dose not work anymore, you are suposed too use your regions battle.net

Yup, I believe a Blizzard official confirmed that the site is down every Tuesday for this.

Its wedenesday and its still down, wonder why. You should atleast get redirected to http://eu.battle.net/
