    Sorceress Septivarite

Been working on this for a while now, playing the chars, so it's time to post the plans...

    SC Sorceress Septivarite

    Theme: 7 different Sorceress builds.
    Goal: Mat all Sorceresses.
End Game: 7 Matriarchs, level 90.
Gear: Interchangeable among the Sorceresses while building them, however, each Sorceress must posses her own set of gear at End Game.

    Builds / Skill Point Allocation

    BanShee – Blizzardess

    Blizzard 21
    Glacial Spike 20
    Ice Blast 20
    Ice Bolt 20
    Cold Mastery 10
    Static 1
    Teleport 2
    Warmth 1
    95 (15 left, finished at level 84)

    BonnyRae – Chain Lightning

    Chain Lightning 20
    Lightning 20
    Charged Bolt 20
    Lightning Mastery 10
    Static 1
    Teleport 2

    100 (10 left, finished at level 89)

    MaryBeth – Charged Boltress

    Frozen Orb 25
    Cold Mastery 10
    99 (11 left, finished at level **)

    AnnaLouise – Enchantress

    Enchant 22
    Warmth 20
    Fire Mastery 20
    Frozen Orb 25

    Static 1
    Teleport 2
    100 (10 left, finished at level 89)

    Scarlet – Hydra Mistress

    Hydra 22
    Fire Ball 20
    Fire Bolt 10
    Fire Mastery 20
    Frozen Orb 25
    Cold Mastery 1

    Teleport 2
    101 (9 left, finished at level 90)

    SaraLee – MeteOrb

    Meteor 23
    Fire Ball 20
    Fire Bolt 10
    Fire Mastery 20
    Frozen Orb 25
    Cold Mastery 1
    Static 1
    Teleport 2
    97 (13 left, finished at level 86)

    Belle – Weather Girl

    Blizzard 24
    Meteor 25
    Thunderstorm 25
    Cold Mastery 8
    Fire Mastery 8
    Lightning Mastery 8
    Teleport 2
    Warmth 1
    101 (10 left, finished at level 90)

SaraLee is lvl 80 right now, trying to get through Hell, AnnaLouise is camping at Kurast Docks, at lvl 58, and MaryBeth has just found the Cube in Act 2 Normal. The others are still waiting in Rogue Camp, at lvl 1.

The only one i might want to change is the Chain Lightning Sorc, BonnyRae, but i have to find a really good replacement first...

So, nothing to do for the next 6 months?

Good characters darlin'. Should be a real challenge....but alot of fun also. The Archmage is a blast, not real powerful, but fun to play. Mine has hydra instead of meteor though, yours may be stronger.

If you're looking for a replacement for a CL sorc, might I suggest a Blizzballer? My own is currently lvl 50 and sitting in NM Outer Cloister, having little difficulty. Skill set-up will look something like this:

    20 Blizzard
    15 Ice Blast
    10 Cold Mastery
    20 Meteor
    20 Fireball
    1 Fire Mastery
    1 Static Field, Telekinesis, Teleport
    1 Warmth
    7 Pre-reqs
    97 Total

You'd have both a timered and spam spell in two elements. Some prefer Glacial Spike (lesser damage, freezes group) over Ice Blast (greater damage, freezes individual) and some prefer Firebolt over Meteor. Milady's-Knight has a good guide for the original build in the Sorceress forum.

I'm thinking of replacing the Chain Lightning one by a "Vengeance Sorc", which means maxing all Masteries, plus some back up skill, preferably a fast one, while using a kick-ar$$ weapon ;)

Darkwell, darling, great to see you on here again *hugs*

Hi Sidhe! I'm a sorceress fan all the way. I'm working on an Archmage myself. Anyway, I have items I don't need that your characters might find useful and if you send me your email addy, I'll give them to you. Let me know. Good luck with your goal. I'm having a hard time just completing the game with one character!

No offense, but using FO with an enchantress seems a bit like chickening out. I agree with Corax, a vengeance two handed axe (or some other source of big elemental damage) and points in masteries would make for a more awesome enchantress IMO.

Chain Lightning is actually a decent skill and pretty fun to use. My build is a bit different from yours, though.

    Chain Lightning 20
    Lightning 20
    Lightning Mastery 20
    Static 7+
    Teleport 1
    Warmth 1
    Frozen Orb 20
    Cold Mastery 1

    (clvl87)

That gives me a pretty decent level of static field which is used to half-kill everything non-LI. Overall killing speed is much faster than with even another 20 points in a synergy and no static. (I had 7 in static when I reached hell)

If you're looking for some enchantress idea you might find this thread interesting: http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=344445

No offense taken, i know it's chickening out... The 'problem' is that i've already started the Enchantress (lvl 58 now, in NM), even before i came up with the idea of making a Sorc Sept. That's kinda like cheating even: i used two Sorces that were already partly build... Anyway, i'm still revising the builds, and i can still start chars over, it's not like i'm very attached to the ones i have now (except for SaraLee). Ideas are always welcome.

Guess i can even make a double Septivarite, anyone know a name for that? There are so many possible builds... Both conventional and unconventional. Nightfish, i'll check out your shameless self-advertisement, and might keep the CL Sorc. Specially if i go with a double Sept; no need to cut builds out then. :) Darkwell, could you either post on the SPF or send me an email about your Bowasorc? Oh, and Corax, seems like the starting on Druids will have to wait for months and months yet, what with all the Sorces...

I looked over the builds i posted so far and noticed some things: first, the point distribution is including prereqs, second, the skill distribution is not the best distribution ever, third, after 4 years of playing, i'm still a noob... ;)

Sidhavirate maybe? :p Actually I'm not sure if it's a sept if it's not HC. But then again, you probably don't find septavirate in a dictionary in the first place.

:) If you needs teh input just ring. NF is teh good at making weaker builds beat hell. :D

Oooh, me likes the word Sidhavirate... Nothing better than an ego-boost at times. ;) And septivarite/septavirate can't be found in dictionaries... yeah, i checked, hehe... I always thought a Sept could be made on both HC and SC though, that it only stated that someone was making 7 chars more or less tied together by something...

NF can expect to be called upon then, someday soon... ;)

Far as I know it was butz who started this whole thing ages ago. IIRC a sept was a guardian of each class. At least my first sept is. My second sept is going to expand that to one ribcracker guardian per class but I'll count the initial ribby guardians I already have. See, you can make your own rules. ; )

Sure, go right ahead, if there's anything I like more than giving out D2 advice then it's... uh...? Cookies? Yeah, that's gotta be it.

I have a Pure Chain Lightning Sorc and it's a good Sorc.

In a enchantress a good thing is maxing LM and use some Lightning damage charms to extra damage and FI's.

X-Bow Enchantress is nice too and a good way to use this unique.

    Demon Machine
    Chu-Ko-Nu
    Two-Hand Damage: 33-139 (86 Avg)
    Required Level: 49
    Required Strength: 80
    Required Dexterity: 95
    Base Weapon Speed: [-60]
    +123% Enhanced Damage
    +66 To Maximum Damage
    Fires Explosive Arrows Or Bolts
    +632 To Attack Rating
    Piercing Attack (66)
    +321 Defense
    +36 To Mana.

Ehm, right, ok... so it's going to be a Sidhavirate, as Nightfish suggested, consisting of 14 Sorces. I'll post the builds i want to make as soon as i have everything planned out and reviewed. ;)
