Sorceress Etiquette??

I just viewed quite a few about how sorceresses play terrible, horrible, blah, blah and are not team players. Well I play a sorc and take offense; all you critics out there tell me sorc etiquette with specifics! I’ll start with a few of my own etiquette suggestions from my own experience.

DO NOT
Teleport in at the end of a battle and grab all the goods
Rush ahead and bring back a horde of monsters for the team to deal with
Block narrow passages keeping combat fighters in the rear


DO
Kill mobs
Stay with the team
Stay in the rear
Only freeze to weaken not kill if necro is around

What are some of your sorc etiquette suggestions??

My friend used to have a huge peeve over Frozen Orb. Since the damage AOE is so huge it tends to wake up off screen monsters.

I'm guessing he tended to grumble a lot when My Orb/TK sork was always around.

Most of what you wrote is basic sorc play for me. Last night I got to hide behind the barb and spam orbs all over the place in safety. A lot of the etiquette is based on the party you're in, too.

I bet that Barb thought you were a noob! Hehe.

Anyways, I agree with what was said, but my major peev, is over one thing:

Static

Get it, use it. A sorc that can't think to Static Hell Baal is just a waste. Even if you are a PvP Sorc tight on points, get like a Orb on switch with it then or something.

I would also add some more.

• A Sorceress player who cannot teleport safely is useless. I don't mean those that are just too low level to teleport, that have just started their 1st Baal game in one of the difficulties. I mean those hanging around in standard gear, who still say they can't teleport. I always think to myself then "Why the hell are you playing a sorceress"
• Use Static Field whenever you in party. You can almost all of the time stand close to mobs, since they are occupied bashing the other players.

I agree completely with the first point, once I hit 25 I of course start joining normal baal runs and theres always like lvl 40 sorcs standing around and I always end up teleing I fail to see how it is so hard.

Well, I used to not teleport in Baal games(well I did in normal, not Nightmare) untill I learned that I can just hold down teleport (doh!)

well i didn't for a while bc i hadn't hit the 63 breaking point, so i would just die. i did feel lazy though. Seemed lke everyone was judging me haha
