Ev_, your songs inspired several songs to pop into my head.

Collective Soul - Run (for obvious reasons)
Brand New - The Shower Scene (again, for obiouvs reasons)
Modest Mouse - Heart Cooks Brain (song after the Brand New one on a mix I made)

And now, for your regularly scheduled mix of songs you've never heard of.

Imaginary Baseball League - From Arkansas, With Love
The Album Leaf - Window
Armor for Sleep - Car Underwater
Armor for Sleep - Basement Ghost Singing
Thursday - Between Rupture and Rapture
Thursday - Marches and Manuevers
Eluvium - Well-Meaning Professor
Death Cab for Cutie - Tiny Vessels

Etc.

Absolutely. I saw a DVD from Skribble Jam that had Atmosphere playing a live show, so that's why I'm back on the Atmosphere kick. And along with them I'm unearthing some Immortal Technique, Black Star, Jurassic 5, Brother Ali and Sage Francis.

Add Cunninlynguists and Living Legends to that list. And do you have all of Atmosphere's albums? If not, you'll want them.

Living Legends is good stuff. I'll check out Cunninlynguists because I've never listened to their stuff, despite hearing of them. And yeah, I've got them all, save the newest one that was released off of Epitaph. I've just been mostly listening to God Loves Ugly because it's so damn good.

I forgot all about Gang Starr and GZA's solo stuff, which are some of the other CDs that I've been cycling through. Add that and early Wu-Tang to the list.

Less then a month to wait, I heard it is coming out May 3rd and a month after that Tool's album is being released.

Havent heard about a Tool record in the making, are you sure about that?
Yeah, a release has been confirmed for this year. Danny has been quoted in press that the new material may be their heaviest to date. Can't wait.
