Someone tell me if this is as good of a find as I think it is:

4 socketed targe with +25 all res and a lvl 3 lvl req.

I found it off nm cows a few minutes ago and nearly fell out of my seat when I saw it. That's the highest resist I've ever seen on one of those 4 socketed targes. :clap:

Well, these can be up to 45 priz but not sure they can be that high and still lvl 3, but i know they dont get too high a lvl.

You could do a number of things with somehting like this but I wouldnt consider it a "rare" find as they are actually a pretty common thing if you pick up pally shields a lot.

Now a "rare" to "godly" find is to get one of those 45 priz wiht (2) socks and be Exceptional or eleite so you can Rhyme it and get those bonuses added to the existing 45 priz, or findidng a (4) or (3) once again Elite or even exception so you can make the other runewords in them, one is Sancturary and I forget the other but they take some mid lvl to high runes and are good ones, and one is for Pallys only.

Those shields can also produce up to i beleive 65 EDamage, and 120 AR and have 1-4 sockets which you could also use these runewords with for Melee builds.

Pally shields with rez drop alot, but the high end ones wiht the right # of socks can be pretty rare.

Last season I found a (2) sock wiht 38 Priz and like 118 Defense and made a Rhyme out of it and it did an extremely good job for me going thru Hell.

Also, one of these like the one you have, you could slap 4 Pdiamonds in it and get 76 more priz and have a whoppin 101 Priz in your shield. Now it will have terrible base block, but when you dont have great gear this can allow you to be a very strong character until you find better stuff.

Als, there is a cube recipe for "normal" class weapons that adds sockets to the item. So if you found a Pally shield that was NORMAL lvl with 45 priz and no sockets you can use that. The only problem is it doesnt garuntee the # of sockets, so depending on where you found it, it could get 1-4 sockets. Lets say though if you find one in late NM or Hell this will get you 4 sockets. If it is early in norm you might be dissapointed.

I have used this cube recipe and the diamonds for many friends and my own pallys to get thru NM easily. In Hell.....well, block becomes an issue so try to upgrade toa better shield, there is nothing worse than wasted Holy Shield points!!!

Ok, ok, for those of you who don't know, the use of this shield would be in llding and pking. I understand that this wouldn't be too good on high lvl characters, the point is that it'll be awesome on a charger or sacadin. Just put 4 15's in it and watch the damage rack up.

i'd rather use a 65 ed one with 4 +15's in it..

I think this shield is better suited for a low level character doing the Chaos Sanc. or Ball running. Put Pdiamonds in it.

That's 97 res all.
Which.. is to much...
So, I think 2 elds and 2 pdiamonds would be best.
That's 72 res all, which is basicly max res, so you don't have to worry about res until night mare.
