Some1 please help me build a good Sorc! PLease

Hi I finally have all the gear to build a good sorc, tals set and everything and I want to know what is the best way to be an overall good sorc. I want to be able to do hell baal runs, mf and just kill monsters really. I was thinking to make a Blizzard/Fireball Sorc. Max Blizz and all synergies, and max fireball and synergies? please help. I heard a meteorb was agood too. please give me some advice. Thanks

A more rounded choice could be meteor/orb, as you said. Or CL/Orb, both work. You can really just mix and match what you like of any skills that don't have many synergies. Just remember that if you want to be able to kill everything without relying on a merc, you will have to split over two trees.

There's also a good Blizz/FireBall guide floating around here somewhere. It's a viable build too. Max Blizz, Glacial (or Ice Blast), Fire Ball and Meteor (or Firebolt). Works like a charm and fun to play.

Blizz/FB and Blizz/Meteor are really the same thing since you will be maxing both for synergy. Blizzard will definitely take you through normal and nm slower than Orb, but once you get to hell Blizzard is far more viable. With Meteorb you are forced to use Meteor as your primary in hell; this is very annoying. With Blizz/Meteor Blizzard becomes your primary, which is much more sensible in terms of survivability.

A good reason to go with a fire/cold sorc is that you will still have SF; this essentially gives you 3 good elemental attacks. If lightning is one of your primary branches you are truly limited to two elements.
