Some thoughts about failed uniques and triple-durability rares

    Hey there  !

I just found a rare Grand Matron Bow in the pit. As a reflex, I tried to check the durability just for the fun of it, and of course a bow doesn't have any durability.

On the other side, there ain't any Unique Grand Matron Bow in the game. But now let's imagine a rare Crusader Bow drops... Is there any way to know if this bow is a "regular" rare one, or a failed Eaglehorn  ?

Asked that a long time ago

The durability bonus was originally a bug, and so it doesn't apply to non-durability items, such as bows, crossbows, throwing items and phase blades. There's no way to tell on those items.
