Some Questions about MF etc

Hey guys, i got a hammerdin and roughly about 200 mf...

Im usually killing every boss but not baal in my own games "since all those boots tele loot all the fking time" and the highest rune i've got is Lum... is it only because im alone in the game? or is it scaled to mf?
i mean.. ive been doing this for ages.

I've looted a few Shakos and Zaka, some scs and grand skillers.. (random stuff not worth more than ist) did get lucky on a sc with 175 poison & 14 life though.. do i need more MF?

MF% only affects how likely a drop will be blue/yellow/gold, but it is not the only important factor when mfing. The number of people there are in the game affects how many items drop each time you kill something, so there are more chances for your mf gear to do its work.

Kills Per Second and Items Per Kill are just as important as MF% (some people think that they're more important). The trade off is that increasing the number of people in the game (and therefore Items Per Kill) also increases you Kills Per Second (which you want to be low).

Another thing to keep in mind is that MF% has a diminishing returns property, so after about 250% mf, more mf isn't all that useful unless it doesn't affect your kill speed at all. I would think that 200% is fine.

There are several decent mfing guides around here; you'll just have to look for them.
