some questions about a strafer

Hello,
well i got some dust on my strafer so she needs to get some use.
Well, i heard strafers are perfect for pit runs, so i got some questions:

-What can i find @ the pits ?
-What gear is good for a pitstrafer ?
-Why pit and not let's say fridge wp ?
-Do i need Mf ?
