Some people

Or organizations, as the case may be.

Check the entry for 4/7/05. (S)he even admits, in as many words, that "it's only a high school publication." So what are they doing berating, attacking, and borderline threatening the author, a freaking high school kid? A JUNIOR, even.

P.S. Yeah, that's my high school. And mah newspaper. Yeah, I'm on it. Yeah.

I wouldn't call "even if written by a teenager" and "nonsense" threatening words. I see it as someone just voicing their opinion using stronger than needed language (by calling the article "nonsense", they validate their own opinion while refuting the original author's opinion). That being said, it's sad that people have to resort to picking apart editorials from high school papers just so they can feel like big men/women.

I agree, it seems I can't find the berating and the attacking, let alone the borderline threatening. But if it's any consolation, I like the article referred to.

I didn't like the article linked to. I've found articles like that all too typical of high school publications. Students who finally found some sort of public voice and they use it just to bash someone.

If you read down at the bottom of the page, there's a comments section that includes a lot of pretty volatile stuff from these people.

P.S. I didn't write the article, if I didn't make that clear.

It's not threatening, but sweet Christ in heaven, make the kid's point for him, why don't ya?
