Some noob questions... again

1. What is the best place to find Grand Skiller Charms? Since when do they appear? (in night or hell, which act ?)

2. Is there any way to download or install a patch/fix (or something like that), that will change the language od my Diablo 2? I bought it in my native language translation and it sucks. I want to have it all in english... Is it at all possible? (legally of course, cause I don't want to risk losing my acc)

1. Skillers appear from nightmare Kurast on. I'm not sure if it's lower or upper Kurast. It has to be a L50+ area and I cannot check it right now because the Strategy Compendium is currently unavailable.

2. AFAIK there is no legit way to do it. You have to replace a certain file which violates the license agreement. Blizzard might not be pedantic in such a case, but they noted that any modification might trigger their bot/hack detection system which might cause the locking of your bnet accounts and a temporary or permanent ban from bnet. Discussing it any further here violates the forum rules BTW.

I have a new question

Is it worthwile to run cows for mf ? I mean nightmare cows and hell cows, or do thwy drop only low items ?

Hell cows are a good place for socketables but generally not the place for godly items as I do not believe it has an alvl of 85 which is the higest possible and thus cannot drop the godliest items. Try mfing the Pits.

The trav is one of the earliest places you can get skillers, and quite worthwhile to run in 8 player games. My gold find sorc found 2 sojs within 2 weeks running them, as well as millions of gold, flawless gems, and a few skillers.

As soon as you can find skillers (alvl 50), they can have up to +30 life (alvl 47).

This is the info I got from the Guide to Charms in 1.10/1.11 (Single Player Forum):

ilvl 50 = Skillers
ilvl 77 = Skillers w/Vita: +(36-40) Life
ilvl 91 = Skillers w/Vita: +(41-45) Life

Another noobish Q (i don't want to start another Q thread)

1) Is there a best place for finding gems in general? Or do they drop randomly (not affected by mf ?) just like runes ?

2) Oh yeah... another thing: When I mule items I create a game, wait some time, and then enter with different chars to transfer items.

How long do you have to wait before the game becomes "more permanent", so it wont disappear the second I leave.
Usually I wait 10 minutes, but is this time shorter ?
