Some good rock songs!

Alright, I'm lookin for some good rock songs, nothing too specific, but we're talkin AC/DC brand rock, not like new pop kind of rock.

So, lets hear some ideas!

Also, I gotta point out that it is RIDICULOUS that Itunes doesnt have any AC/DC.

Just seeing the thread title made me think of Back in Black and Thunderstruck. Two of my favorite rock songs ever. But I'm gonna assume that you already have both of those, after reading the first post.

Me <3 Anti-Flag. Try it
Seriously though, "good rocksongs" is very broad, and AC/DC has influenced so many bands a lot of them sound alike. And besides, I now some very recent rockbands who sound a lot like ac/dc ;)

I do indeed :) Good songs. My favorite AC/DC song has gotta be Highway to Hell though.

Yeah, I know its broad, but its intentionally broad, I like a lot of rock-ish type music, wouldnt want to miss out on something good by being narrowminded.

So, which bands are you thinking of which have been AC/DC influenced...?

Visit the world of Iron Maiden too. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is a pretty good rock-type opera.

Bad Company - Feel Like Making Love
Foreigner - Juke Box Hero

AC/DC - everything on "back in black" and "high voltage"
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
Alice Cooper - School's out
The Hellacopters - By the Grace of God
Whitesnake - Here I go Again

there's a few great rock songs

You might know it as Teenage Wasteland...the name given to it by people who don't know the real name of the song. If you still don't know it, though...GO GET IT!!!

That's the song playing in my iTunes right now. Excellent song, but not exactly in the same genre as AC/DC.

Can't You Hear Me Knockin' (aka Cocaine Eyes) By the Rolling Stones is great, but the instrumentals in the end get kind of boring.

British Invasion

Any song by the Who. I heartedly recommend the "Tommy" album as a shining example.

Most songs by the Rolling Stones. I particularly like "Sympathy for the Devil" and "It's Only Rock & Roll (but I like it)".

Judas Priest and Billy Idol are pretty good too. And of course, you can't beat Guns & Roses or Aerosmith.

If you are into R&B. I suggest "Hard to Handle"
Otis Redding wrote it, one of his best songs, you have to listen to it.
The Black Crowes made it famous, nuf said. But the best version of this tune I have ever heard is by the Greatful Dead. Try and get the "Phil Zone" version.

Bo-Diddley, Chuck Berry, Lil Richard, Elvis, Beatles,Stones,Jimi and on and on.

What are you asking for? Material to play or just stuff to listen to?
