SOJS or FCR Rings?

I have a level 89 Wind and on another thread I asked how important FCR is.

Don't worry I've all ready established that I need to hit 99% FCR BP.

My Question was: If I cant find an Amulet with Skills, FCR and Res what do I do?

I deceided that it is worth sacrificing the 2 Skills from Sojs and to use FCR Rings. The problem this posed was the great loss of mana (I have base). So they recommended getting rings with good second mods.

Then I found Bone Masters. They were perfect, until I learned that the C/O was 6x 3-20s :xx: That's a little too rich for my .

Then I saw another windy using Armagedon Fletch (You know that Rare massively Duped Sorc Ammy.) I still lose the 2 Skills, but I gain the Fcr and and keep mana. My Res also stay maxed.

So the question is: which do I use, FCR Rings or Fletch?

I'd advise you to steer away from dupes.

You can gamble/craft rings with 10% FCR and 70+ mana.

Personally I would try to craft some, it might take a while but when you get a good one they have a decent trade value

When I said massively duped I just meant very common and cheap.

I was just wondering if I should use Fletch or if I should try and Get B masters.

It might help better to list your other equipment. Mayhap we could help you there. Note that wind elementals don't require huge amounts of mana (unless you are pvp), but sojs tend to be all around useful. Also, it is good advice to stay clear of the dupes. I am pretty sure our mod doesn't like discussing them.

I suggest gambling rings or crafting rings.

Even if its common and cheap its still a duped item if there are more than 1 of them and they are not set/uniques, dupes are not very accepted round here.

Look through the crafting recipes some may have what your looking for and you will only be rolling for FCR.

I assume you mean amulets due to the +2 skills you mentioned in that case craft the caster amulet for upto 20 FCR. That would be your best bet, any crafts you make with +skill trees will be worth something to someone, so you can trade with them. Crafting is fairly cheap crap jewels are the hard part about crafting amulets.

You either use maras and 2 faster cast rings, fcr+soj+10fcr ammy, or 20 fcr ammy+2*soj. The damge at your level is not that important, so dont worry too much. It is much more important having 10 ele skilllers than all this.

Anyway, lets to discuss about your case. plain 10% caster ammy, soj+ caster ring? Nah, Maras+2*caster rings is better. +2 druid 10 fcr ammy+caster ring+soj, nice, this is better than first option, ofc. Then if u are luck to get +2 druid +19frc ammy, use 2 sojs ant thats it. Me myslef use +3elemntal 10 fcr magic ammy, it was pretty cheap and works fine if i dont lack of resist.

if u have that with sojs, lose the sojs and get some fcr rings, and then get bloodfists for gloves (assuming u use magefist/trang glove now? the 20%fcr u lose will be regained from rings)

bloodfists offer 40 life and 30%fhr..very useful - even if they are normal heavy gloves!
