As processors have got faster software has become more capable of doing things that would have been too slow in the past to be worth while doing.An early example might be the real time zooming into images and drawing of fractals then later we have things like face tracking/recognition and even more advanced stuff that some people might be aware of(and care to mention?).
So I say put accross your Ideas of what you think would be useful but predictive in that it may currently not be possible due to present processor speeds but you can see it being possible in the future(they may already exist, some might know).I think video games will also benefit when you compare space invaders with Oblivion.
Mine are:
The ability to mould 3d objects with your hands with a 3d holographic projection.
AI image processing where software can recognise images and process them accordingly(things like smart blur are going in that direction).
Games become much more organic where objects react more precisly to physical laws.
