Socketing Mavina's bow

Hey all, I have the full Mavina set, and am wondering whether to socket the bow for the bow in the set.

To recap, here are the breakpoints for GMB without strafe:

normal

10 WSM (I think this is for GMB)
0% IAS, 15 frames
4% IAS, 14 frames
11% IAS, 13 frames
22% IAS, 12 frames
35% IAS, 11 frames
56% IAS, 10 frames
89% IAS, 9 frames
147% IAS, 8 frames
292% IAS, 7 frames

Mavina's helm gives 30 IAS, the bow itself gives 40 IAS, so if I socket the bow with a shael, I should get 90 IAS, which is just perfect for 9 frames? Is this correct?

Also, if I'm using the set, is it possible to go to 8 frames? If so, what should I do? Thanks!

If you are a physical damage build, sadly the set isn't that great. However, I'll still answer your question. From what I know, if you want an 8 frame, the only way is to use Cat's Eye (30%) + 2x 15% Ias jewels in the Diadem and Kraken shell.

Now I have highlord's wrath amulet which adds 20%.

So now my total IAS is 90%, so it should be 9 frames right? Can someone confirm this?

Are you using Strafe or not? I usually go for 120 ias breakpoint since both Strafe and normal attack benefit from it, and it's easily achievable.

M'avs bow Shael = 60%
Highlords = 20%
M'avs helm + 15%ias jewel = 45%

Total = 125% ias

Otherwise you are already hitting 9fpa at 90% ias yes.

I don't use strafe, because of strafe lock =( But thanks for the input!

Talking about skills...

I maxed guided arrow and valkyrie. Now my question is whether to max the synergies for valkyrie or go the freezing arrow path. Can anyone provide any insight (no runeword jokes please lol) to this?
