    Socketing Green Items

I am wondering if I can socketing the set items. For example, Griswold's set for paladin, each of the four items has sockets (2 for helm, 3 for armor, 3 for shield and 3-4 for sceptor).

So, if I can insert runewords into set items and get benifits from both, would the socketed Griswold's be the best gear for a Paladin? For example, Enigma can be inserted into the Armor.

you cannot make runewords in set, unique or magical items. Only in grey socketed items. If you try you will only get the individual bonuses from the runes ... not the special bonuses from the runewords.

Griswold's is fun for a fist of the heavens paly if you fill the whole set with nothing but lightning facet jewels ..... fun stuff

u can not make rune words in any rare, magic, set or unique items

runewords can only be made in the gray colored (socketed) items
you can add sockets to a white item and then put a rune word into it
