Socketable Armor

Hi,
I have another question. What are the best sought after socketable armors you can find? What are the armors that are most sought after by those who wish to socket them with runes. Also what are the best weapons (swords/bows etc) for socketing with runes as well.

Armour:
really depends on what character class u r.... due to strength requirements restrictions.

Bows:
GM bows seem to be popular !

Yes, I realise strength could be an issue and from what I hear many people wont put an enigma for example in something with high strength. So what is the best sort of armor? Wormhyde? Archon Plate? Dusk Shroud? I know these have defense around 350-500 and low strength requirements.

whoops !

Well i suggest the highest defense armor that falls in ur strength requirement...
depending on ur build... Wot sorta max strength r u looking at attaining ?

Archon Plate looks good with 410-524 and only 103 str requirement


GM is Grand Matron Bow.... but thats for an Amazon...
for other classes.. u can try Crusader or Hydra Bows... they do stacks of damage..

most people do the dusk shroud because it has low str req's, is light (wont affect run speed) and has good defense. Archon Plate is also sought after, as it has the highest defense for light elite armor (and has decent strength req's).

In terms of value, 3 OS Archon and 3 OS Dusk Shroud would top the armour list.

And for weapons, in non ladder (no new runewords), the 6 OS E zerker and 6 OS E CB are probably highest valued, also the 4OS E Vortex shield with high resists.
