So I'm trying to make a hunger bear... getting whooped

allright so I'm trying to make a hunger bear thats pretty much pure, though I do have a point each in summon as My gear makes it all lvl 9-11 w/ just 1 point. I'm trying to do this w/ aldurs but I am getting whooped pretty quick, I'd like to keep the aldurs, just need some advice on sockets, shields, and gloves. I would really appreciate your input.

Kinda, Aldur's is definitely not physical attacker friendly with the crap damage on it. Add in that the fastest you'll be hitting is six frames and it has no elemental damage to cover the lack of damage from hunger and you have yourself a set meant primarily for FC Druids >.>.

However, if you want to keep Aldur's, I'm pretty sure it's doable. However, we'll need a full list of your current gear and what exactly you're having problems with.

For PvM here are my suggestions:

- Upped Shael'd Ribcracker
- Chains of Honor or Fortitude armor
- Jalals (socket: Um / Shael)
- Gore Riders
- Draculs or Laying of Hands
- Verdungos
- Highlord's Wrath
- 2 x Raven or Raven/Bul-Kathos'
- Switch: CtA + Spirit
- Torch
- Anni
- 5-6 Shapeshifting Skillers

Heya,

I made a hunger/geddon version of the Kodiac. He's got the crushing blow, resists and attack speed (using the Ribcracker), plenty of life and the rest is a synergized geddon. He's fun, but they definitely are not ultra powered characters. Even with monstrous leech and attack, they just don't do that much damage that leeches, and in many instances can be outdamaged faster than they leech.

Aldur's is certainly one that will not work for a Hunger setup. You do no damage and thus leech barely nothing, and that's why you're getting your butt handed to you. Aside from crushing blow, you still need as good physical damage as you can get, because that's how you stay alive--leeching it.

Cheers,

guillaume's face shael or um
3x shapeshift with life, resists, or whatever
azurewrath shael, switch mang song's lesson (for style)
duress
tiamats rebute pdiamond
crafted blood gloves
IK belt
gores
raven ring 2x or raven and bk/godly rare

torch anni skillers

merc
reaper's toll to break pi
duress
g face

elemental and magic damaged isn't nerfed so it helps out ribcracker was mentioned and IK maul is also a good weapon choice. a hungry bear isn't going own regardless of your gear

going the summon route with your bear will help your kill speed alot as well as making the build safer.
