so... facebook just turned public yup, anyone can sign up now to facebook by registering in their region. Maybe another step towards myspace? I dont know yet. Facebook has been anticipating a lot of objection from the college/high school community so they have implemented advanced privacy controls. So far, I think facebook is going pretty well so far. It's very simple and straightforward.. only one ad banner and no html or other coding (unlike myspace). But I still disagree with their decision to be open to the public. The last thing we need is to see is a girl gone missing in the news after contacting a stranger on facebook. Any thoughts? Do you think this is a good or bad move for facebook? And if you couldn't create a facebook before, do you think you'll create one now?
